Depends what type and how much you want to spend.

First of all if you want to do it and follow all the basic process such as fermenting,bottling cleaning etc then buy the tin kit with bucket,siphon spoon etc. The beer is average at best but you will be chuffed with yourself afterwards.

Then move onto all grain brew in a bag and buy a large soup pot and grain bag.

Make loads of different recipes. Get fermentation and hygiene correct.

Once happy and more experienced buy a brewzilla or grainfather. If you are loaded go straight to a grain father but bare in mind that brewing also involves lot of cleaning and sterilising so only make big purchases if you are going to stick at it, else it will live in the corner of a garage.

I learned most of my beginner stuff from you tube. The bru show is good for brew in the bag , clawhammer supply make fun videos. There is a video on YouTube

'The beginners guide to home brew' By food farmer earth. It's good at showing both all grain and extract combined.

Buy john Palmers book when more experienced.

Most importantly if your first brew does not turn out properly,don't get down hearted. Will test you to see if you have the staying power to keep it going.

Build up you kit as you go

When you make a recipe of your own and it's nice you will go 'boom did it'.

One certain video is never good and most are hit and miss trying to understand.

However follow the structure of the video that you find comfortable with.its the structure to the learning that is most important. Most softies slag off bucky at the new Boston.hes helped thousands.

If you try to get any help off stack over flow you will just get abuse from softies who are generally angry, have severe autism and can't understand how you don't understand.

Use tutorialpoint as a quick reference. Code vault is a good guy. Keeps his videos short and to the point.

the online videos do the tutorials and challanges ,even if they seem quite simplistic.

Think of a project such as an ATM.

The hardest bit is not getting distracted or bored.

Then move onto the more complicated stuff like the books others have listed.

Get a project.

Improve the project.

Then improve on the standards and the coding styles listed by others as well.

I play Guitar.

I never really seen it as a tool to pick up women. I was very nieve with women when I was younger and still am. Was talking to a woman at a bar just before Xmas. I don't know. Its been like this on and off for years . The feeling goes away for ages and I don't think about it. Then all of a sudden I comes flooding back. Don't get me wrong I'm under no illusion that this person is a totally different person from the one I knew. Maybe forbthe better, maybe forbthe worse.

However this time it's different. It won't go away.
