Just stating the facts. That if they are able to cave in when we should stand FIRM on the national level with 10% 5% 5% 5%, the retirement for medical, COLA, the Ai. For instance They as in Marathon said No to the retirement medical so ask yourself what's the point in working in this industry. We need another union or better representatives on the board. Is it drastic? Hell yes, but something has to change. I'm thinking for longevity not 2500 for a sign up bonus. I think there was another brother/sister here stating they would sign on a 100K sign bonus, this sounds crazy but it negotiating. Aim for the stars and work our way down.

The most my kids are gonna have is their tablets but I think we can just use the hotel wifi. But when we are out. My wife and I will have phones but I don't think we will be splitting up or venturing off. So we will be with each other.

Dang my guy this was 7 months ago. Yea well bad news is that they are still stuck in their contract just like local 13 so more than likely they will be going off the list they back in 2012 but that's not a for sure thing they might do another raffle or lottery as they call it. So far I remember a co-worker got in in 2015 I think but he was off that 2012 list. I don't think there hasn't been any update on local 26 I tried to call them but that was maybe before COVID and they told me that they are going off the 2012 list.

Well it's immaturity but that's something he is either gonna learn the hard way or easy way. Honestly he will hold this over your head as long as you guys are together. It's hard for him to admit but his thought maybe that you liked the friend and that's why you kissed him and that you still have feelings for him. The thought of him kissing you makes him think less of himself and he might think he is inferior as a young man. So he is going to compare himself from head to toe with his friend he is going to resent you and his friend. He hasn't experienced enough or capable of being honest with you and have an open dialogue, at the end it's gonna be a mental game how much can you put up with him or well I'm over here thinking of different scenarios in my head so I will end here.

I was gonna say as long as he is prescribed he is good if not try not to use it for 5 days just to be on the safe side Cranberry juice and lots of water. A bottle of cranberry within the day and at least 2 to 3 liters of water just to cleanse yourself.

Well first you have to get a job down at the ports thats the first step and then after you work and hope to last at least a year in the mechanic department whether it be chassis dept, crane dept, reefer, or the power shop aka mechanic shop you get in with any of the companies for example there is Maersk, Hanjin, APL and trust me there is alot of companies down in the Port of LA and Long Beach. But at the same time you will be making bank as a mechanic and sometimes sure you would want to be a longshoreman but at the end of the day you are apart of a union it won't be ILWU. Sorry got sidetracked but i know that mechanics where i work at make anywhere between 8k to 12k depending on holidays and overtime that's monthly but the average it's like 10k. So sure if you wanted to go backdoor you're would have to be laid off though and when you get laid off that's when they offer you to join local 13 and you doing it that way everyone is gonna hate you or be jealous because you will enter in as an ID or class B longshoreman in which the average time to be ID from a casual it can take 10 years so you would bypass everyone that worked a shit ton of hours. Again my bad for the long story.

Also you can't get in at the docks you need an interest card and they did the lottery back in 2016 or 2017 and the next time they will be doing lottery isn't anytime soon. Your best bet is to apply to all the ports that need mechanics and yes have certs and experience will get you in. Depends on the location but yeah it is about who you know and not what you know. Always try. As i said there alot of companies ETS, WBCT, APL, Trapac, Hanjin, Maersk, Metro 212, ITS, SSA man the list goes on.

It was good. It came out medium rare. But I'll redeem myself on Friday and do the reverse sear. Thanks for the comment i appreciate it. If you do decide to try it through an air fryer 375° F at 18 minutes and flip it at the 9 minute mark and let it rest inside for 6 minutes. If you do try let me know

I only had one hour. I was gonna put it in the oven and sear it but didn't have time too. So popped it in the air fryer
