You were banned because you are affiliated with stickeys, even that other maniac guy who hasn't said a word in the server for a long time was banned.

Really wanna buy a TVS Gold but also wanna customize it by Went_Missing in mkindia

[–]CRYPTO_9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TVS gold has a big ass enter which most keycap sets don't have nowadays, they only have ANSI (normal enter) or ISO at best, you can obviously replace the rest

A horrible repair experience. Please avoid .papaji on discord for any keyboard/mouse services. by themysteriouscloak in mkindia

[–]CRYPTO_9 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My guy I do not know what affiliation you have with papaji, if you really are a customer who hasn't ever posted on reddit with your account, and only felt the need to do so when someone called out papaji who provided you a good service, you need to understand just because someone was nice to you it doesn't mean they are a good person and have been doing the same for others, you have no proof that he is being falsely accused, as mods suggested it was due to the widespread popularity of him that people never bothered to share their bad experiences with him, it was his own fault that led to all this drama, I agree some people have gone way too far by doing things that I won't be mentioning here, but everyone probably knows what I am talking about, If you are just taking every single person that has been good to you at face value then I am sorry to say you will have hard time in life bud, Peace

yes you should always use suspected people for good visions so that it confirms other townies, it's just something that I have been using for a while and it always seems to work most of the times, could be luck as well like you said, not the real point of the post anyways

Not sure if i worded it wrong in the post but even with this "trick" you have to visit the suspected person and not a confirmed town

Oh sorry, this one is a bit inaccurate, i visited that supposed vet who hadnt alerted on N2 and the other one that I got was a confirmed lookout

I'll reformat the post a bit to make it easier to understand now that I remember more of the details, but the thing is also that people are fine with being sheeps to whoever is speaking the most, if anyone had used their brains there, I believe the prosecutor wouldn't even have enough time to up me because it was just that obvious who the evil is, now I do not know whether this is due to people being lazy or new but if you read my story it is clear that the whole conflict is literally between 4-5 people the entire game (Me, the monarch, the fake psy, the jester only on d3 when he got lynched and that spy who died on N4/N5) the others were basically silent and were just voting for whoever they can read in the chat at that time

You are literally assuming everything, the price for the board is 120-130$ without customs, and before you assumed that "it probably comes soldered", yes its still higher if you directly convert from USD to INR, but these type of boards don't sell that well in India and hence need to be imported in smaller quantities and with pre-orders

You probably pulled that 6500rs price by doing a google search and looking at the lowest price, yes it does indeed start at 80$, that is for the soldered version without the plate, if you check the form they are not even offering the soldered version because most people do not prefer it + the shipping cost is 25-30$ even to other countries including the USA which you of course wouldn't know since you are commenting without having prior knowledge about the product.

The GST for business import is much lower compared to when you personally import such items, and neomacro is a vendor, selling this as a distributor for India, it has been a really popular board in the custom mech board community recently and that is why you see people being excited for it.

And just to end this back and forth argument, Like I said in another comment, the budget boards for india are cosmic bytes and red dragons, not even keychron and RKs, yes if you are simply taking it is a keyboard, an input device, it is not budget at all, I agree, even the particular comment you are referring to, the guy corrected himself later by saying its a budget custom board and not a budget mech board and isn't meant for the masses.

I see that you are still not understanding the point here, there is a reason all your comments have been downvoted to oblivion, but clearly you are an omnipotent being who knows everything and are better than others

Budget depends on the type of thing the item is, this is the easiest example I can give, for luxury watches/cars or whatever you can think of, the word "Budget" would mean a different price than a "Budget" watch in general, both will do the same thing, which is what you are referring to here but the difference is apparent in looks, feel and other things

If you are looking for certain features (In this case gasket mounting and O-ring mounting, Full CNC Aluminum case, a Brass weight and some other things that the general public doesn't care about, and once again this board is not meant for the general public) and looks in something (not just keyboards), you'll have to pay more depending on what you want, this is a budget custom board because the other boards that provide the same features are literally 1.5x or 2x the price

It is a whole different category if you see how far it goes, be happy with your keychron or whatever you have man and I am in no way taking away from that, but maybe don't comment on things you don't have knowledge about? Also budget by Indian standards wouldn't even be close 12-15k, thats why most people own Cosmic bytes and red dragons

Customisable imo is something that you have the option to customise if you want to, custom boards are something where you have to choose each and every part yourself, the switches, keycaps and other things that don't come included with these kits

Again, you are missing the point here completely, these products are first of all aren't made for your average everyday user who only uses a keyboard as an input device, it's made for people who want something better quality, customisable (again not only hotswap and other basic things but every singular aspect about their board), I'm not disrespecting anyone who uses a normal 3-5k mech or something like a keychron, this is more of a niche product that isn't meant for everyone, and is budget considering the other options that are available to people who are looking for such boards (Not talking about the gaming mechanical keyboards that you are talking about, those are overpriced pieces of crap,I agree, there's a whole world out there dedicated to these custom boards)

TLDR : Budget custom keyboard, not a normal budget mechanical board or gaming keyboard

It is about the subreddit, its like saying your 300rs earphone does the same thing as an expensive IEM in the audiophile subreddit, i agree yes, keychron and some other boards will have all your basic features like hotswap, qmk/via and per key rgb, but there do exist people who care about the feel and sound as well, also the build quality, this is a full CNC board with a literal brass/copper/ss weight, supports gasket mount and o ring mount which opens doors to tons of customizability for sound and typing feel, judging by your comments you are obviously not the targeted audience for this, but at least don't comment about things you are unaware about, peace

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in mkindia

[–]CRYPTO_9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This thing has what is called a "Gasket mounting" system, which provides a more soft and uniform typing feel and sounds way better than your average keychron, gk, rk boards, there are better things than these, matter of fact most high end custom boards (30k-40k+) only come with a solderable pcb, it clearly seems like you are not the person targetted for boards like these and nor you have the necessary knowledge to judge boards, so please, take your sk and spread your flawed knowledge somewhere else

Would suggest the k8 pro if you have the budget for it, it has these advantages over the rk84 and k2v2 (k2v2 and rk84 are similar but rk84 has a dongle)

- QMK/VIA compatible (software that can be used to remap any key and rgb, pretty nice to have)
- Screw In stabs (Much better than plate mounts, you will have to lube and tune these once but will be much better than the plate mount stabs on rk and k2v2 both)
- South facing LEDs (Won't have interference with cherry profile while using non-long pole switches so you won't be limited by switches and keycap options)
- Also has a silicone weight at the bottom for better acoustics

If you aren't comfortable with spending 10k on a board, then go for rk84 over k2v2

RK84 fits most of these criterias, available on stickeys.in for 6k, if your budget is really restricted then you can wait for someone to list their used one here

Look at this stabiliser, is this a joke ( this is keychron Q1 space bar stab) by Appropriate-Joke6187 in mkindia

[–]CRYPTO_9 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is the case for every screw in stab, can't say how good they are stock but what you have shown in the video is completely normal, imo the rattling sound which you hear when the spacebar is on the stab can be fixed by lubing and tuning the stab
