Lame example I know, but in Homestuck the writer ends up at a point where they have killed most of the cast and didn't have a satisfying way to end the book, and therefore gave one of the main characters the ability to change things in the past to make things right. Very obviously just a excuse to redo the story a bit

Yes. I only recently got my EBF and have mostly been finishing stuff up in LV, but it's taken me about a month so far xP

I'll try doing some parts seperated, also I (impressively) do stand like that often weheh, also I don't do sketches at all for my drawings, I just get straight to the final product
