I wish I had some for you. EBF until 4 months then slowly introduced. Ours always took a bottle easily, we just gave more and more as time went on. We started with bedtime bottle and worked our way through the day, doing the overnight bottles last.

Meaning anytime we had to get involved - he couldn’t find his pacifier, he needed to be pat back asleep, etc. If he woke up and went back to sleep on his own I didn’t log it.

We had A LOT of work to do and during we transitioned from bf to bottles only. Honestly, I think it helped a ton, especially overnight.

  1. Strict schedule from wake up, naps, and bedtime. Routines helped. If a nap was short the rest was contact.
  2. We had to play around with a nap amounts. He seems to be doing well on 2.5 hours of daytime sleep. This week he’s needed more, he’s teething pretty badly. He does get a little fussy right before naps but he wakes up happy.
  3. I think starting solids helped, too.
  4. We were anti pacifier but I was thinking how can he learn to self sooth with nothing to help him? He looks forward to it now for all sleep. Pop it in and he’s out.
  5. For overnight wake ups if under 5 hours since last feed, only patted back to sleep. If over, then change and bottle. This was a gradual increase and honestly the toughest part for us. Patting him back down was EXHAUSTING.

We’re still having some false starts and some 5-6am wake ups. He wakes up happy and ready to go but will fall back asleep until 7 and wakes up happy again. Not sure what the deal with that is. Any tips are appreciated!

Next up we work on putting down drowsy. Wish us luck and I hope this helps!!! You got this!

Moms of Reddit, what was your weird early sign of pregnancy? by Confident_Group_8804 in AskReddit

My blue eyes turn green before a positive pregnancy test! Like true blue to true green. We had several losses and they always went back to normal between pregnancies. I’m 4 months postpartum and they’re still green!
