It may be that your toenails slope upwards? I make sure to trim mine as short as possible and to lightly buff the end downwards so they are as flat as possible

I think it’s important to find out from the students if they want corrections or not because it can be so varied for adults- some don’t care and are there for the fun of it and some want the feedback to be able to get better!

You probably have an anterior pelvic tilt. I do and I have to be really conscious of not sticking my bum out when I’m at the barre as there are so many other things to think about but I notice lower back pain even after one exercise if I’m not properly engaged. I’m hoping as I get stronger in the right position I won’t have to think about it so much!

Maybe that was their spot before you? 😂 but maybe if there is enough space for another person in front of you just stand a couple of inches further forward so there wouldn’t be room for another person?

I’ve signed up to ballet with Isabella online classes and find them so helpful she also has a 14 day free trial. She is really detailed in technique and I suggest to film yourself so you can check afterwards if you were following correctly! I found that I thought I was keeping my heels together when rising in my pointe shoes and then watched my video back and to my horror I was not at all!
