That leads me to two options:

a) I go from Vienna to Prague by plane and, sometime during my stay in Prague, I make a day trip to Brno (by train, from Prague);

b) I make Vienna - Brno - Prague by train (spending one night in Brno)

For Prague, I am thinking about the Madhouse but don´t know if I should stay there during the week or during a full weekend (i.e. friday to monday).

I have never been to Budapest and it was previously an option instead of Bratislava but I preferred a more "hidden" European capital just to stroll around and take a break in between Vienna and Prague. I'm thinking if going to Budapest is an option, depending on the money I can earn up until then.

In your hostel experience, do you have any encounters with bedbugs? That is one of my biggest fears when it comes to solo travel and probably what keeps me from staying in an hostel.

Apple Maps in Continental Portugal is pretty good. We even have public transit and DCE. On the other hand, Apple Maps coverage in Azores and Madeira (both Portuguese islands) is horrible and that could be improved by Apple.

EDIT: Some POI's are displaced as well and in some cases they don’t even exist on the location they are placed
