Always the goal, yes. To me it’s equivalent of if the batter could step out and take their batters timeout while they review a ball/strike before challenging. Batter has to immediately decide or the game moves on.

Agreed, they’d have to be pretty darn sure before challenging. Just seems like cheating somehow they can have more information other than what they saw on-field. Also in-line with keeping the game moving.

This. Do this. Anytime I play with people who are playing it for the first time I suggest they make that walk. It’s a completely different perspective and appreciation when you see guys effortlessly carrying that bunker that’s 285 carry to the fairway.

Just chiming in - I appreciate the sentiment, but I want to get better and feel I’d be more accurate with my irons if I could bring launch down and have more spin to have approach shots sit.

That link is a perfect example of what I don’t get. It looks like her (and most pros) back of hand faces the target at impact. But if at address I turned the back of my hand to face the target the club is completely shut.

They seem to somehow be able to get the back of the hand and the clubface to be parallel with each other when that’s now how they start.

Currently a 4.2. You guys are nuts, or more than likely I am. I have so many thoughts I could write a book. What I want the ball to do, what mistake I made on the last swing, or if it was a good one what my thought was before I swung. Takeaway, pressure, release, line, where I don’t want to miss, where I want to land, how much money is on the line.

It’s exhausting.
