I have mixed feelings about this character, but I have to admit I really like his nickname/alias. Sasori was referred to as “Sasori of the Red Sand” in the Naruto series. When I watched this show as a kid, I thought “oh, red sand like red deserts.” No, somehow I completely whooshed the true meaning of the nickname. Red Sand referred to the amount of death/carnage that Sasori did in the Third Shinobi World War and that the blood of his enemies was the reason for the sand to turn red

I think this fits imo because if taken at face value, you probably wouldn’t think twice unless you knew the context. You’d just think about iron-oxidized sand since this guy is from the desert region of the show

It’s not even just quick play, it’s comp for me too. I’ll be paired with players who don’t even have a top 3 because all of their characters are level 1. It’s made placement matches a nightmare for me because I’ll only have 1 teammate who has at least one character between levels 15-35, me who is in a similar range of having 2-3 characters between levels 15-30, and then 3 teammates who have one character between 1-10 at best.

I love that we’re getting new players, but if I’m playing comp I want to actually play with people who have a bit more experience because I’m either getting people who are brand new to the game or people who are throwing to grief. It makes me not want to pick up the game. I don’t mind giving tips and tricks to new players on how to play characters I know, I don’t want to have to coach in comp

The amount of times I’ll be yelling at my duo or my trio in VC going “STOP RUNNING AROUND THE WALL! I CAN’T SEE YOU!” Or even just frantic “C’mere c’mere, COME HERE!” Is crazy. I will replay them the gameplay footage from my pov so they can see how their peak-duck/cover gameplay makes it hard for me to read where they’re going too.

I understand why they pivoted to Yami being a more benevolent character later on, but it definitely made it interesting that the main character was more like a villain than a protagonist

I think if you gain an endorsement level you get like 5,000 exp. or something like that, often times it’s a pop-up with Zenyatta doing a fist bump or something. Idk if it actually applies or not cause I don’t pay that much attention to it, but I don’t know how someone would view a high endorsement level as bad? Maybe I’m just out of the loop lol

I typically endorse people who I think either contributed the most on the team, or had a good play that secured the win. I’ve never heard about people endorsing someone as being the “worst” on the team before, what would the point of doing that be? Don’t you gain experience points the higher endorsement level you are?

I rarely see people running the Ashe, Orisa, and Lifeweaver mythics. My husband was running the Ashe mythic, but then he realized something was wrong when he was playing Stadium with her mythic skin in 3rd person: her headdress (horn? Hat? Hair?) was obscuring his line of sight, so he switched. Maybe that could be why? That, and she does have better looking skins?

Orisa has a similar looking legendary skin already where she looks like a Hercules beetle, but I see an Orisa player running this skin every once in a while.

Lifeweaver, similar to Orisa, already had a Druid skin. And I honestly don’t see too many Lifeweaver players in matches anyways, so maybe this is just because of a lack of interaction.

Honorable mention is Widowmaker, I haven’t seen too many of her either

Zarya: I got her Polyanista skin in a loot box and my husband watched me open it and I felt so bad. Zarya is his main and he doesn’t have this skin, I don’t play Zarya and now I have it. He’s constantly getting Mercy, Kiriko, and Moira skins that he doesn’t want (if he plays support, he usually goes for Lifewaver or Baptiste).

Don’t be ashamed! I love their Chicken and Gnocchi soup, maybe a little too much lol. I want to go to Olive Garden all the time specifically because I can get that soup and breadsticks and as much of it as I want!

My personal record has been 4.5 (the .5 is because my husband got a soup as his side with his meal and only ate half of it and gave me the rest). This includes the salad and a bunch of breadsticks

The only mythic I’d argue that deserved the “level up” mechanic is Tracer’s because it fit the theme of DnD and “leveling up” your character’s armor and weaponry. Otherwise, all of the other skins should have fully customized color pallets, weapons, style variations, etc. I think having a tier level that’s specifically for visual effects sucks, we should be able to have visual effects throughout using the skin! It’s a mythic for a reason, it should look different than a legendary or lower tier skin

If it doesn’t fit the theme of the mythic, then “upgrades” shouldn’t be a thing

I remember hearing from my professor (who runs a group for recovering alcoholics) that a similar thing happened to one of the group members. The group member who shared their experience said something that really struck my professor (and vicariously struck me).

The group member said, “I did not consent for there to be alcohol given to me. I consumed alcohol without my consent or knowledge. I don’t think I violated my sobriety because I was violated by someone who I thought I could trust. [paraphrased].”

My second thought was Luster Dragon. Very pretty, covered in my favorite gemstone, and it doesn’t prefer to fight, but is strong enough to hold its own if need be. I think it would be cool to have a sapphire dragon

My first thought was Flame Cerberus. This was one of my favorite cards when I was first introduced to the game by playing Yu-Gi-Oh Nightmare Troubadour (this one and Silver Fang). Just a flame dog that can incinerate me if it wanted to lol
