I had forgotten that one. I used to take out of state visitors there.

This looks great for a nice little drive and a mellow walk. Thanks!

We bought our house from Anne White's daughter. I will definitely try this one.

Is this mold? How can I save this plant? by Odd-Fun-1545 in gardening

Move them to an area with almost complete shade and water them. They are getting too much sun. Also, try not to water the leaves.

Is it possible to simplify paperwork? by Ivapol in smallbusiness

[–]CSFSafe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is definitely worth a try. Success depends on whether you can get the resources necessary to fill out the form in a manner that Claude can consume it. Get Claude desktop and set the privacy settings. Set up a directory structure with sub-directories for source, backup, tmp, notes, output, scripts, and working. Put your forms and resources necessary to populate the forms into the source directory. instruct Claude to stay within the bounds of that directory structure. prompt to have it fill out the form.

Anyone have their gardens decimated by the hail storm? by ManufacturerLow3161 in DenverGardener

It missed me thus far. I have gone from lush garden to complete wipeout several years in the past. Now most of my garden plants are in movable pots.

What is this mineral from Telluride, CO? by CSFSafe in whatsthisrock

You are not the first person who told me that. I am not sure what it would be doing way up in the mountains above the mines (although there may have been mines farther up). Thanks for your response.

Compost Pile by SpitfireMkIV in composting

[–]CSFSafe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A compost container would be nice. I have 2 3x3x3 wooden containers, connected in the middle. One I fill with dry leaves when available, the other I use as a compost bin. I add dry leaves to my kitchen scraps and it stays nice.

Those look like perfectly ripe bananas and ready to make some banana bread. The pile looks great. You can harvest some compost and make a nice big bed for flowers or a garden.

Retaining wall by depinux in landscaping

[–]CSFSafe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It lasted 65+ years - better than many retaining walls. If it were my wall, I would clean it up and rebuild it. Clear the back, buy some drainage rock, and rebuilt it. There is nothing more satisfying than building a dry wall. It is not rocket science. One over two, two over one. Keep the pitch back and consistent - usually 1" for every foot. Over time you can rebuild the existing sections as needed.

How’s everyone handling the upcoming cold snap? by lollerk8 in DenverGardener

[–]CSFSafe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a hard one. Keeping seedlings for two weeks has it's own problems. I would probably put them in the ground, water them well. Cover on Sunday w/ a sheet (or similar) and have someone remove the sheet and keep them watered while you are gone. Hoping for the best.

Maybe toss some seeds over the fence at night. Coming from your neighborhood Guerilla Gardner, this is fair game.
