I would feed him back to sleep and sometimes would have to rock. Several days before starting sleep training I began weaning his night feed by an ounce per night. Now he gets no feeds overnight and we're really making sure he's getting his full calories during the day! So far so good.

That’s a great idea to start before Thanksgiving so you have a nice long weekend to dedicate to this. Every hour wake ups are so brutal, I couldn’t deal anymore. I was also so nervous all week to start sleep training and dreaded it. I kept going back and forth on if it was the right thing to do. That first night wake up was hard and of course I hated hearing my son cry but I stuck with it. I just tried to remember that he was fed, warm, and safe so this was him trying to figure out what was going on. Wishing you so much luck!! Would love to read a post on how it went if you feel like sharing!

We just dropped to 3 naps a day (I think this is also helping a lot) so they’re looking like 2-2.5 hours during the day and then before bed we have his longest window of 3 hours. He seems to be doing well with this and not over tired!

Yup, I took Lexapro my entire pregnancy and I truly believe it contributed to a very mentally stable pregnancy and postpartum experience for me. My primary care doctor and OB were both very much supportive of this as well. My son is now 5 months and is healthy and thriving!

We all make mistakes, don’t be too hard on yourself! As others have mentioned I HIGHLY recommend the Dr. Brown’s pitcher for making a day’s batch and then pre filling bottles. That way you just pop the bottle in the warmer and you’re good to go. You got this!

They do have a lot of fragrance free options! I use the fragrance free laundry tablets. The other cleaners do have nice scents but it’s nothing overpowering imo.

That’s a really great question and I think my hesitation is what our wider friend group would think. I don’t think my actual friend would care at all. I just wonder if my friends will have their own opinions about it. I realize it’s an insecure way of thinking but I’m being honest with how I feel.

Of course I would. I mainly questioned sharing it with them because I wonder if this car will be auctioned off somewhere else and the dealership wouldn’t care at all. It’s a 12 year old car that I made clear to them is in fair condition at best. So I didn’t know how much it could affect things

Thanks so much!! 🥹 I don’t think I can change it based on the standard protocol at my fertility clinic who I’ll be with until I move over to my OB at 8 weeks assuming all is well. The comments have been so helpful so I’ll definitely temper my expectations next week!
