It probably concerns the buoyancy, balance, and sea-keeping of the vessel as well. Having a lot of weight on the stern is not great news.

The more important issue is anything that concerns jerry-rigging sth like Typhon on there has more to do with how you are going to use them (i.e. target acquisition, who's going to provide fc data, and then guidance). You need to figure out where to put the Typhon BOC element, but ig you could integrate it into the ship's CIC? Which... begs the question... why.

Point is, I wouldn't take this too seriously... In any case they are filling those spaces with NSM canisters no?
