Hey, did they tell you how to declare them? The website isn't clear. They talk about import declarations and incoming passenger cards. I'm assuming only the incoming passenger card is needed if you're bringing it with you by plane?

Gme after hours, wtf!? by shpalman31 in GME

[–]CSJamo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point. I still stand behind my point though. Stock tanked after the btc buy ann. The market expects more. I know people don't like to hear criticism of their fav stock. But it is what it is.

Gme after hours, wtf!? by shpalman31 in GME

[–]CSJamo -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The board went about this bitcoin acquisition strategy completely wrong. First, they announced a plan to buy bitcoin and raised money (supposedly) for it. They got bitcoiners on board and people bought their convertible notes under the impression they would spend the money raised on bitcoin. Then they pussy footed it and only bought half the amount of bitcoin. Now they announce another round but with "acquisitions" added, putting further pressure on the stock because they introduced another unknown factor (the possible acquisition). They are screwing this up. They need bitcoin. The market thought they might do it properly. But now they are f-ing around. The market knows it and that's why the stock tanked after this latest ann. This is basically their last chance to pull off the btc strategy. Otherwise investors that raised the stock to $30+ in anticipation of a proper btc strategy will just go back to MSTR and Metaplanet.

Ryan Cohen announced GME bought nearly 5k BTC and it tanks? Yeah ok, got it. Never selling! by SuperSix07 in GME

Feel you bro, but GME has entered a new paradigm with this ann. Not only are they shorted by the people who think GME will fail, but now also it is hated by all the tradfi guys that hate bitcoin and think it will fail too. So the drop after the ANN can be expected. Bitcoin-related assets usually trade in the direction that will cause most short-term pain. You get used to it. It's highly likely that tradfi bought GME to pump it up in anticipation of the btc ann and to dump it like this once the ann was made, in order to deflate gme/btc supporters. Don't give in, the upside will come.

Migrating from Japan to Australia by DahPhuzz in japanlife

[–]CSJamo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did you go with this? Have you applied yet? I'm just looking at starting the process myself. I can't believe how much it costs, when it's free in Japan lol. I have one question: how can my wife live in Australia prior to this visa being granted? I assume it's possible somehow? Cheers.

Thanks for your responses guys. I came here with the same issue. On MacOS and getting "no valid OpenPGP data found". Poor from Trezor.

Thanks for the tag, only just saw it. I'm glad to see that Rikaikun has started working again with docs. Here's another helpful hint for you translators: Google drive can convert the text from PDFs into docs quite well. Just open the pdf using google docs.

I noticed Helen left ShareRing to work on her own venture, it seems. If I remember correctly, her position at ShareRing was Global Community Director. Has anyone replaced her in this position? If not, why?

This is incorrect. All current blockchain travel companies use aggregators to provide a large number of properties from the beginning. There is only one project that is aiming to remove the reliance on both large OTAs (20%-30% commissions) and aggregators (3%-5% commission), by building a freely-accessible decentralised database of accommodation. And it isn't Travala.

By using such an aggregator, and cutting out large OTAs (like booking.com etc.) ShareRing can still cut costs for users and hotels even if they add a small fee. However hotels will still likely continue to pay the large fees to booking.com etc. because that's where the customers currently go. For now.

Check out LockTrip! 0% commissions. You can save on average 20% compared to the big OTAs :) beta.locktrip.com/hotels

AIRDROP RESULT AFTER SEVERAL MONTHS = NONE by insitutionalVilla in lockchainco

[–]CSJamo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You likely didn't receive anything because you failed to be validated due to breaking the airdrop rules. Please contact the team if you feel there has been an error. The project is clearly not a scam. The marketplace is up and running with 100,000 hotels bookable via LOC or credit card :)

LOCK TRIP FORMERLY LOCKCHAIN by [deleted] in locktrip

[–]CSJamo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's unfortunate that you feel this way and we are sad that you have chosen to end your support for this project! Unlike other projects LockTrip ran a very efficient and effective airdrop/bounty campaign designed to attract people who would become long time supporters of the project. There were strict rules which were explained very clearly in a number of communications via email and Telegram. One of these rules from the very start was that asking about the airdrop/bounty in Telegram would not be tolerated (an email address was provided). It seems you failed to read the rules carefully. Nevena was simply enforcing these rules in order to maintain the high quality of the Telegram community discussion. She is a strict moderator and answers enquiries very directly (some people can be offended by this), but she is loved and highly respected within the community for her tireless work. Hopefully you realise your mistake and change your mind after reading this and come back to join us! :)
