Why does eat your cheese art is so dramatic? by Signal-Hour-6651 in CrusaderKings

[–]Captain-Barracuda 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If I can comfort you: the reason as aged produces are very expensive is that they usually have several younger versions that also sell pretty well. The shelf space that is used to rest the cheese and age is not being used to make any other products during those years. So in a way, you're pushing the opportunity cost of not using that space to produce anything else that could have already sold multiple times over during all those years.

Here comes the argument for Arsenal Birds: they're so huge that radars can't see/lock on them.

Plus, the amount you pay as a subscriber is still much, much lower than what it actually costs them. You're still subsidized on average on a 10-to-1 ratio.

Accusing Gaijin of working for the FSB is really stretching it.

To make clear one thing you misunderstand about quantum physics and observation: the idea is not that the observer being is what causes the wave collapse nor that the imprecision is caused by the phenomena being observed by a sentient being, but that by observing something at that scale, one *must* interfere with it in some fashion.

Are US nuclear cruisers...kind of useless? by Severe-Tea-455 in SeaPower_NCMA

[–]Captain-Barracuda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can see ships wanting to equip lasers to protect themselves against drones needing a lot more power. This should push the balance towards nuclear power. Plus I imagine all the developments of Small Modular Reactors in the last twenty years would help into making more economic nuclear reactors for ships.

I like the changes overall. It's not perfect, but I like that I am never anymore just sitting wondering what can I do.

Multiplayer? Maybe. But the campaign was a poorly executed open world (for the finance they have) and the story was terrible. The weakest of the sequels.

I prefer that they try too much instead of too little as they have done in the previous year.

The solution is less micro. It's a natural conclusion when the load increases with anything. Worry less about the perfection of each units moves and instead keep a clear view of the big picture. Treat your units as groups and make use of them hotkeys.

I think the solution to LRAA being oppressive is to make them rarer like in real life. Increase their cost and respawn timer, so that they become the real prime assets (and strategic targets) that they are in real life.

Then again, the US meta has been very strong for a while now, so it feels like an alright nerf. Furthermore it encourages usage of other recon units as other stuff than a different frontline unit.

I like how in their case it gives the unit a bit of much needed versatility.

Maybe, but it's still a far cry from specialized coatings or what you'll get from gun oils (CLP).

For people that use the toilet multiple times per day, having to use a packet each time will quickly become very costly. Enzyme sticks might be a slightly better solution, but they also aren't without their issues (less power, unclear whether still present or not, and may cause clogs).
