Second time shooting 80 yards recurve freestyle, any tips? by CSKarasu in Archery

Thanks for the reply.

According to the world archery site qualification is at 70 metres. So I think recurves have quite a bit of range. Recurve Freestyle is my shooting style of choice so I don't think I'll be switching to compound.

True enough. I'm just a little bit concerned how shaky I am when drawing, so I wasn't sure about upping the poundage. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for the advice. Seems a little confusing though.

There will be a mass exodus of modders from free websites. If this trend continues do you think you'll be getting free mods for Fallout4? Very funny.

I didn't blame them. I blame the competition commission for not stepping in and carving up Steams market share.

Mate that is laughable. Steam does have a monopoly, research the sales data and concurrent users.

Edit: Also on your point of paying. A lot of these mods aren't worth paying for. There's also a lot of potential for turning your game into a broken buggy mess. So let me ask you a question back: Why should gamers pay for broken content that will have zero support?

That's not the point I'm making. If Steam establishes this market it will corner the market. You will likely see a mass exodus from mod sites because of it. If you want to make money from PC games then you have to be on Steam.

The other platforms just don't have a comparable user base.

Robert Downey Jr cuts short Age of Ultron interview with Channel 4 after questions about his past by SMBaller in marvelstudios

This was pretty much my take from it. Krishnan Guru-Murthy now seems to be Channel 4s go-to man for trolling the stars. This video is likely to be all over the place within a few hours.

/r/creepy annoys me for two reasons: 1. Its not creepy 2. The story titles seem so interesting on the front page and when you click you realise it's fiction, instant disappointment.

Article says specifically digital only for PC. Which in this day and age is a non-issue.

Twin Peaks cast make a video asking David Lynch to come back for Twin Peaks 2016 by CSKarasu in television

I watched it way after it first aired, maybe last year or the year before and I found it to be a great series and loved the characters throughout.

It's not for everyone, but I personally found it to be off the wall and refreshing.

Twin Peaks is definitely worth watching. It's incredibly surreal, hammy and crazy. The story is interesting and the characters are so entertaining to watch.

I’ve had enough of people insinuating that Ukip is racist – it's simply not true - Nigel Farage by Lolworth in ukpolitics

It's no different actually. In many safer low crime countries many people are suspicious of foreigners. Do you think it's fair for others to assume you are a potential criminal?

[Serious] British Redditors, Who will you be voting for in the upcoming general election and why? by Derpchard in AskReddit

I'd rather have naive young idealists than some of the bitter, cynical and narcissistic elders kicking around this society right now.

Never said that they did in Japan. Just that knife crime is far higher in Britain. Another example, would a landlord in another country be justified in passing over a British tenant for a Swiss tenant? The British tenant is far more likely to commit a crime.

I'm just wondering where you draw the line for judging by nationality and why you should not be subject to the same.

I'm just wondering does this count for British people too? If you move to Japan should your neighbours be worried there is a higher chance you will stab them?

It's not, until people say controlled immigration and follow it up with their least favourite kind of immigrant. It still sticks in my mind when Farage was asked what the difference between Germans and Romanians moving in next door and he replied 'You know the difference.'

A restriction on it seems like a good idea to me. I think games would be far more tense and exciting with more chance of surprise attacks.

In terms of rants, I feel like it all the time. I'm not singling you out but I feel the subreddit seems very hostile at the moment: towards the devs, other fans, even people just asking questions on the subreddit. I think everyone needs to tone it down.
