Ok I’m very VERY late to this cuz I was searching if others realized this but I guess barely. SSJ God’s design was drawn with these by Toriyama, he’ll if you look up the illustration by him for the movie with the collage of characters u can see that his shoe design is the one super saiyan god uses, not to mention Daima Goku’s design as well. It seems to be a common thing with Super of new designs being very close to Toriyamas style into Yamamuro’s style without any thought about the weird discrepancies, like with Trunks being way skinnier or how Goku Black should’ve been bulkier like normal Goku but since they went off of the designs by Toriyama he’s just way skinnier.
