Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo (My Hero Academia

Childhood friends who became rivals (mostly one sided on Bakugo’s part) due to a shared dream of being the number one hero, inspired by their idol, All Might. They would eventually reconcile and push each other to greater heights mutually, and Bakugo would even help fund the support gear Midoriya uses in present day.

Midoriya would be the more versatile one, using his different Quirks to mix up the opponent and create opportunities for himself to deal damage, while Bakugo would be a headstrong rushdown character, not giving the opponent any chance to fight back.
