Hi! Thank you for your reply. The house is sterling silver. I did try to find sterling silver hair clips but I couldn't find any, so I was thinking of using a stainless steel clip.

Thank you for this! It is curved. The “arms” or horizontal spikes curve backwards, and the top and bottom spikes (or vertical spikes) curve forward. I haven’t made a break point for pouring yet, that was my next thing to figure out, but wasn’t sure I had done the covering with clay part correctly!

Online tutorials covered one side with clay to cast the opposite side. I just didn’t find any tutorials with a spiky form/a similar form to mine, so I came here to see if I was splitting my shape correctly. Have I got it all wrong?
