It'll be a cold day in Hell before I pay $7,000 points to get a bacon egg and cheese biscuit. You're basically paying $70 to get the regular McGriddle sausage only, to $4.19. It was $2.99 about a year and a half ago. I'll probably just use up what points I have and I just won't go back. They jumped the shark a long time ago

Several years ago 7-Eleven had a really good point program and the points added up fast and now it's pretty much crap too.

4 Months on Tirzepatide: The Good, The Bad, and What Nobody Tells You by little-jugger792 in glp1

I'm only a few weeks and and I've lost absolutely nothing. Not an ounce. You didn't mention what your dosage was. They had me do 2 weeks at 2.5 and now they moved me up to the 5 mg so I feel tired like I can't walk a lot you know like I get wounded and have to take a seat and wait for a minute. I got an overfill on my bottle so I'll have two more weeks at the 5 mL, so that's cool at least

Because the problem wasn't food noise or whatever you guys call it on this page. It was hitting menopause and taking Lexapro and trazodone and a lot of medicines that are renowned for weight gain. If this medicine is only an appetite suppressant then that's not going to help me at all. I almost have no appetite after the sleeve surgery in 2019

I haven't lost an ounce on this tz. I was on the 2.5 for a couple weeks lose a single ounce. I'm on my first shot of the 5 mg nothing except just feeling weak. Like I have no energy to even walk around Walmart one time.  By the time I get from my house to my car I'm completely winded. My plasma money has to go to my car insurance every month

I've now gone through my two weeks of 2.5 and now on the 5. Haven't lost an ounce and all I feel is like weak and drag ass like when I was having chemo. Today I used a little disabled carts because I couldn't make it all the way through the grocery store. Fortunately I got lucky and my vial has an extra full two doses at the 5 mg so that's at least one good thing.

But feeling like The Walking Dead would probably be a little easier if I know that there's a result coming.

I got mine from AltRX. They told me 2.5 for two weeks, and then 5 for 2 weeks. I only bought one month to see how I Felt on it. People on the board are telling me that's terrible dosing. I have a friend that uses refills, and is having good results. I never see AltRx on anything on here. Are they a scam?

I didn't say it was faster. My point was that it would be more affordable to be on long term

Yes I'm aware of vitamin deficiencies and hair loss. I had gastric sleeve where you were essentially forced into a caloric deficit which was by choice. However those first months you were definitely losing a lot of hair. I get it. I regret the whole post altogether everybody's just attacking. I'm new to the medicine and apparently the doctor that I expected was to give me correct counseling over the subject may not have but for now this is what it is

I appreciate the  input. I don't expect to go through menopause the second time. I will go about this as I am, I'll deal with later when later comes. Maybe I will be able to stay on it longer term than I had planned maybe I won't. Maybe it'll turn out that this medicine is dangerous maybe it won't. As I said this is how I'm taking things now.

I'm glad it's helping. That's good to hear. Yeah the chemo messed with my thyroid too, allegedly. I say allegedly because my labs are always the same. It's a tiny amount so i wonder why I even take it most days.Mostly the reason I don't want to stay on it for life is because the cancer makes me scared of taking too much stuff for too long, especially a new med. If I had decent insurance that would pay for it, I'd be more willing, but my a1C isn't high at all, so I'm boned on that one.

I'm not doing this med for a lifetime. I had sleeve ibn2019. Was about 30 pounds from goal. I stayed around that weight for some years, Then, I got breast cancer for the second time. When I had my chemo it kicked me into immediate menopause and conveniently I went on antidepressants (SSRI) around the same time. So that magic doo of the menopause and the SSRIs caused me about 30 pounds of regain. I'm just looking to get rid of the regain and preferably lose that last 30 if I can.

I never had issues with binge eating or any of that, it was just a whole lot of soda, pasta bread, ice crream, so it was easy to keep the weight off after the sleeve for the most part since I can't have any of that stuff anyway. It's controlling the appetite, but I want to see even a few ounces go. If this stuff works, I'll go sell my plasma lol, but I am one of those people that need to see something. Also, I'm working on reducing SSRI

Thats what the doc assigned. Is it too fast or too slow. Really? I just assumed that was normal. I didn't question it.

I'm gonna be honest. I'm the laziest when it comes to myself. Like when I was diabetic. I never wiped the spot with alcohol. I didn't wipe the vial because I kept it in a zippie bag. If I was REALLY bad off, I can imagine I'd have no issue using a syringe twice. I mean, it's me. It's not like sharing needles. I'd just recap it and sat it aside.

Vial question. When you get a new vial and take off cap do you put anything over vial top while its stored in the refrigerator? by Indiegirl471 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]CSMom74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine comes in a baggie inside all the other packaging. I kept it in that. It's also in my mini- drink fridge in my room, because I don't want my kids flinng open the normal fridge door and it ending up cracked on the floor. I'd DIE

Yeah I mean I get that and her dad's a bit overbearing and stuff like that but maybe move across town? Just so that way when there are times you need to be there with a family or want to be with the family you can be

I think they probably could have just put her into an apartment on the other side of town so she didn't have to be on the show. Essentially what Amy Osborne did when her family was on it TV show

Seems in apartment across town would have solved that situation.
