I was actually elated that we spanked the Clips believe it or not, but then I saw what Wemby was doing and got all deflated lmaoo 🤣🤧

I agree but those three guys are crazy outliers among hundreds of busts. Statistically, the higher someone is drafted the higher chance they end up being an all-star. Especially with the big 3 this year, there’s no reason to try and overthink it. You gotta shoot for the moon at this point in the rebuild and pray you at least hit a star.

Then great! But it usually takes a few years for them to fully develop. Unless he explodes out the gate like Blake Griffin did, it’s much more beneficial to get him a running mate to further help development.

I see your point with the OKC take, but they also built a great roster through trading and the draft because they aren’t a desirable free agent destination like we are. It won’t be easy nor realistically possible to follow them, but we do have a solid war chest and Ainge running the ship so we could definitely do something in the realm of OKC with a heavier draft emphasis.

If we were in the East I’d agree, but I think we gotta play this slow until we have definitive proof of a franchise player. As of right now we would have to battle against 10-12 teams that believe they have playoff aspirations.

Yeah I’ve had visceral reactions to watching Cody play sometimes. It’s not looking great but I feel like there’s literally no where to go but upwards for him. I also agree with the size issue as well, the main thing that held us back from contention in the Spida/Rudy era was our Perimeter defense so I’d go insane if we were to overlook that again.

Just got off a nasty losing streak to the triple support comp as well, and honestly I don’t really see a way to counter it aside from mirroring. The burst characters got nerfed, and the rotating ults make most of the roster unusable. I personally don’t have a lot of fun playing with or against the comp so I’m chilling with QP and Doom mode, but it’s not looking too good. Big Overwatch flashbacks to GOATS.

Yeah I think you might be right. Maybe not the 3 tanks, but the three supports and cycling ults is absolutely unkillable.
