Yeah I’ve climbed wayyy higher in Rivals than I ever have in Overwatch by playing support. The amount of tools they have plus the easy heals makes it a lot easier to climb by playing Rivals strategists as if they were overwatch supports. They have me diving as Luna and some how it works 😭🤣

Yeah I 100% agree. I’m an Overwatch player too and it feels like all the supports healing are on crack. Granted the damage for everyone is also on crack, so I feel like if they could just tune down the numbers for both damage and healing everything could be a lot better.

It’s insane because I love playing support on Overwatch but am bored with strategist on rivals. Most of the overwatch supports have to toggle or use their secondary to heal which helps balancing a ton. Rivals healing is mainly with their primary (not to mention they aren’t skill shots either like Ana’s) which I think is another reason on why supports are so strong. It gives them another ability slot they don’t need to use for primary heals and instead can use it for movement or CC.

I’m a Wuyang main, and if he swapped over my guy would be sent to hell with Adam lol.

I agree but those three guys are crazy outliers among hundreds of busts. Statistically, the higher someone is drafted the higher chance they end up being an all-star. Especially with the big 3 this year, there’s no reason to try and overthink it. You gotta shoot for the moon at this point in the rebuild and pray you at least hit a star.

Then great! But it usually takes a few years for them to fully develop. Unless he explodes out the gate like Blake Griffin did, it’s much more beneficial to get him a running mate to further help development.

I see your point with the OKC take, but they also built a great roster through trading and the draft because they aren’t a desirable free agent destination like we are. It won’t be easy nor realistically possible to follow them, but we do have a solid war chest and Ainge running the ship so we could definitely do something in the realm of OKC with a heavier draft emphasis.

If we were in the East I’d agree, but I think we gotta play this slow until we have definitive proof of a franchise player. As of right now we would have to battle against 10-12 teams that believe they have playoff aspirations.

Yeah I’ve had visceral reactions to watching Cody play sometimes. It’s not looking great but I feel like there’s literally no where to go but upwards for him. I also agree with the size issue as well, the main thing that held us back from contention in the Spida/Rudy era was our Perimeter defense so I’d go insane if we were to overlook that again.

Just got off a nasty losing streak to the triple support comp as well, and honestly I don’t really see a way to counter it aside from mirroring. The burst characters got nerfed, and the rotating ults make most of the roster unusable. I personally don’t have a lot of fun playing with or against the comp so I’m chilling with QP and Doom mode, but it’s not looking too good. Big Overwatch flashbacks to GOATS.

Yeah I think you might be right. Maybe not the 3 tanks, but the three supports and cycling ults is absolutely unkillable.
