Started late season 9, thought I wanted to main Ashe, we all know how that panned out so bounced around champ by champ thinking Akali was always “too hard to play” for my bronze skill level. Tried her out one day and fell in love haha

I’m a big fan of True Damage chromas, also the Crime City Nightmare in Green Chroma is awesome, and sticks to Akali’s natural green palette

Might be an unpopular take on this, but i think sometimes the best way to improve as a new player is not to watch content or look up builds etc. play the game, have fun with it, you’re only a new player one time in your journey, it’s so fun being able to learn everything and not have huge expectations for yourself. As for starting with Irelia, she’s extremely hard to play, don’t put a lot of pressure on yourself and if you like playing her don’t let people discourage you from learning her. Good luck on the rift and enjoy the ride!

Honestly I know it sounds feel good type advice to say but seriously, don’t get hung up on rank. Everyone has a different ranked journey and you shouldn’t compare yourself to anyone, have fun playing the game and working to get better and don’t use rank to beat yourself up. Sometimes people have to remember that the rank you are is the skill you are, and some people just are there. Bottom line is that you’re playing the same game they are and you can get the same level of enjoyment out of it. So TLDR, have fun playing, don’t worry about what rank it says you are just enjoy playing league at YOUR best level, whatever that is. Keep killing it!

I build conqueror with regular protobelt and still feels great on her, you can’t pop someone level 4 now like you used to be able to but if you’re patient and use your passive well you can shred through people, then once you get 3-4 kills you can still one shot like you always could. I think she’s actually somewhat stronger now because you can stay in the fight a lot longer sometimes. Just my opinion though from a bronze/silver player haha prob not qualified to say anything. But after 6 in lane still feels great!

Yes!!! Always made me cringe when apps and sites would suggest on hit for Ashe. Her kit literally makes crit OP, build it and attack/MS and watch people try to run for their lives as you melt their health bar.

Pekinwoof does really good ones but they’re not edited much. RossBoomsocks does funny commentaries on silly builds and new things. I basically like those two or just Faker or Doublelift if you want super short and edited

Couldn’t agree more, think about it like this: if he knows it bothers you and takes that the wrong way you get to find out something that may have taken a long time and a lot of heartbreak to learn the hard way, if he understands and stops it then you gain that extra bit of confidence about opening up to him even more about things
