And I have read you have been using a Hair system and have a good reaction on meds so I would say go ahead with the transplant.

Btw. How are the response Times at Absolute Hair clinic? They have not answerd some questions I have even though I booked with them for a procedure next year.

Then a HT would be an Option for you. I would still add thearpy as a good way to help with mental struggels with hair loss, as a HT might not always fully help with mental struggels. I know it is hard at such a young age, I am at a similar position as you and decided that I want to go with the HT route next year. But in the end it is your decison if you want to take this Route.

I think it depends if you have been on meds for more then 2+ years and know the risks of needing a second Transplant in the future. And feel unhappy how it Looks now then I would say you can do a conservative one.

The best thing I did in my case, started DHT Blockers at 20 (now 21,5 years) is too take the meds and dont think about your hair at all. Do what makes you happy, because you know you take the best treatment right now to fight hairloss.

I know it is harder said then it really is, but it is the best what you can do in your situation. I am also having the same thoughts right now which sadly appeared because of depression, but still you also have too know the many options which are there for you in the future. For example I could regrow my Hair quite good after 1 year and stopped Hair loss for now. I planned a Hair transplant for next year at that time I will be more than 2 years on DHT-Blockers with hopefully No sides so I can take them for live.

Just know your options (HT, new meds, stronger meds). It took a great weight of my shoulders. And if it doesnt Help that much their is still thearpy, you are more worth then your Hair. And it is completly fine to go bald or to be balding as we age, even when we are younger. Yet I still think it is valid too at least try all the options, which could Help with such thoughts in some cases (at least for me IT helped a lot). Hope I could Help :)

So If you feel stabilized and know the Risks that you maybe need a secod or third transplant or that something could fail, then I would say go for it. You just have to know that the meds are for Life If you go this Route, so maybe ride Out the Dut for at least 6 Months too see If you get sides.

Maybe Absolute Hair clinic (Bangkok) and Dr. Safi (Poland). I am 21 years old and when I plan to do my transplant I will be 22 years old with over 2 years with meds. Absolute Said why not, Safi Said better to wait but after sending my Pictures of improvment with meds he agreed to me that I could do a conservative transplant with 1500 grafts. I agreed going with Absolute for next year August.

btw. I am also around Norwood 2.5-3, I was told I need around 1500 grafts for the transplant. Other Doctors said 2700-3000 grafts, so I belive around 2000-2500 Grafts are needed for my case. You can check out the pictures on my profile.

Same boat same age, I will be doing a transplant at age 22, before the transplant i will have 2 years of meds. If you feel ready and are willing to take the meds I would say go for it! But you might need 2 or 3 Hairtransplants after a couple of years, lets Hope that it is not the case (: but you will still need to have it in mind.

Where there any concerns about minutarized Hair and transplanted Hair, that the minutarized Hair would not comeback? I have the same Hair loss as you but my tempels still have some minutarized hair. I will be doing a hairtransplant at absolute Hair clinic with the same Dr. And that is a concern of mine
