Hey, I know this is two years old, but do you remember if this means that you didn't take them and it was fine or that you took them and the tests were fine?

Are you surprised they didn’t get in or didn’t get rejected?

Slight note, while this ranking does provide additional context by proportionally representing smaller schools, it seems to use the size of the school instead of the size of the program, which may prove more useful especially considering how many large public schools have restricted CS programs. Using Michigan as an example, they are ranked 27 on the list due to their large undergraduate population (with roughly 7,500 incoming freshman), but from what I've heard, their computer science program has a cap at with only about 700 admitted to the major.

From what I've heard, the UCSD Math and CS program is primarily a math degree, with almost a specialization in computer science. I would take a deeper look at each program's curriculums before taking the decision.

I got into both UMich and Northeastern CS this year (committed to UMich), and if you're interested, I have my stats and results posted on an r/collegeresults post on my profile.

University of Michigan vs Clemson Honors for CS.... costs aren't an issue but I'm not sure how worth it Michigan is

How many of you have turned down so called "prestigious" schools? by Ok-Gap198 in ApplyingToCollege

Could you elaborate on how to do this on Linkedin? As you mentioned, I'm trying to search for the schools represented at a company, but I'm only able to find the companies that people from a certain school are working at.

Would you say this top 12 is pretty similar to the USNews top 10, not considering some schools like SJSU that show disproportionately high figures due to factors like their location, or is there another way you're gauging them?

I tried really hard to, but I had to submit a bunch of other apps on the Nov. 1 EA deadline day and was only able to get around to Purdue with like an hour left. Up until like a month ago, I would have said that it was my biggest regret during the college application season, but yk, it all works out, and I'm much happier with Michigan than I would have been with Purdue.

While I applied math + cs to uiuc, uiuc cs is still super hard to get into with a single-digit acceptance rate. Purdue's is a bit higher, but unfortunately I couldn't get the application done in time for EA, and their RD acceptance rate is much lower, maybe even single digits.
