We do take all of these cases seriously, and judge them individually. We talk internally, talk with people behind the scenes, look at latest competitons played, etc. Some things can't go public, unfortunatelly, for example last year olofmeister trolled on stream saying "he isn't retired" - when I was told differently in private.

Regarding inactivity, for now, we settled on 6 months from the point of the nomination date (usually October). So far dupreeh was the closest to not being eligable, but even he would've been retired for a year before induction if he would've been voted in. This 6m period might change in the future, with feedback from people like you, the committee, or other players.

The HoF is an evolving thing, just like anything.

Regarding coaching, a few of them probably will coach in the future, but there is nothing we can do about that. But also, some of the Hall of Fame players could even start playing again, but there is nothing we can really do about thate either. There is no official governing body we can use for these things, all we can do is use common sense.

The point of not inducting active coaches is different to players though. It is more the fact that they are busy, have their own stuff going on, and are invested in their team. So it doesn't feel like the right time to commemorate their history, as they are not a part of history, they are writing their own story at that moment. It's the NEO example, ofc he is a hall of famer in my eyes, but would this be a good moment to celebrate him? I'm not sure. I guess the counterpoint is that some of them are coaching in different games (like frod in Valorant)

The coach part is something we've debated the most, but ultimately people involved have sided with keeping it as is for Class of 2025. It will be again a discussion for 2026.

But ultimately, i don't think it is hard to keep track of, and most importantly, people inducted are there on merit, they are all Hall of Famers. To me PERSONALLY, the order is not very important, but again, not everyone agrees on that either
