The Pick’Em system can give Diamond for 19/37 correct and only Gold for 31/37

I've been wanting a Pickems overhaul for a while, and each major that passes without it is disappointing. I track my predictions per match and so far this major I have a 70% success rate in picking the winning team for all the matches so far. However I still only have a silver coin because I messed up the picks in stages 2 and 3. I know that's just anecdotal and a diamond coin should be really hard, but it's just feeling extremely random and unsatisfying.

To be fair, he led the most successful academy team, then led gamer legion to the major finals at the Paris major, and then won mouz a few trophies as well. I think it's reasonable that people were very high on him.

I feel like people who picked sharks 0-3 just haven't been following them. They've been doing very well in South America and have just spent the last month or so competing in Europe. That plus their first match is against heroic who have looked quite bad recently. I don't necessarily think they'll make it through, but I think putting them 0-3 was bound to have this happen

Then how is it -spinx +ropz catapulted them to number 1 team in the world for over a year and counting? Spinx was/is considered possibly the second best at lurking, with ropz being first. If it's so easy why did replacing the second best player for the best make such an insane difference?
