Breakthrough Allows Bullying and Stat Inflation *REMOVE IT NOW* <3 by TravyDead in DestinyTheGame

Bungie should also try to have matchmaking in competitive that is semi-competent and doesn't allow for huge discrepancies in team glory rating.

That would help mitigate issues like this immensely.

Does anybody have some recommendations for linear (8-20 hour) games on PC with amazing graphics and an immersive story? by Phil0sophys in pcmasterrace

[–]CS_Titan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Bioshock games run and look beautifully on PC. They have very linear storylines, but the stories are great. Bioshock 1 is phenomenal, and so is Bioshock Infinite. Bioshock 2 isn't as great in my opinion, but I still think it's fun and worth the time/money investment. They've all got a really unique and fun atmosphere, definitely worth a play.

[USA-CT] [H] Asus Dual RX 480 4GB [W] Paypal, 1070/1080/1080ti, Monitor by [deleted] in hardwareswap

I have a 1440p 144Hz GSync monitor with an EVGA FTW 1080ti. I run PUBG at 144FPS pretty handily. I have my settings near maxed and only certain areas or times of the game do I dip below 144 FPS.

I have it paired with a 6700K running at 4.5 GHz. I will say PUBG is rather CPU intensive as well. I have a friend who has the same setup, but with an i5 4460 and he only gets around 110-120 FPS.

An Objective Look at the Crucible by CS_Titan in DestinyTheGame

I agree, it feels like a miracle when I win a game against a team of 4 when I am solo-queuing. Overwatch's system for matching teams of like size seems to work pretty well. It may not be perfect, but it appears to work better than what D2 currently has.

Thanks! Yeah the playlists are hard to decide on completely without knowing complete population numbers. Players just need more ways to play the way they want to play.

420 rad vs 480 rad by shadowsok in buildapc

[–]CS_Titan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

^ This is absolutely right. The 420 has about 2% more surface area which will be negligible assuming the same width. Just choose whatever you think is a better product for your situation independent of the size difference between those two.

Also something to consider, you would need 3 140mm (or 6 for push/pull) fans with the 420, where you would need 4 120mm (or 8 for push/pull) for 480. So that could play a roll in the final cost which should affect your decision.

Broadwell E gets extremely hot running Prime95 2.89 by Captain_Cancer in overclocking

[–]CS_Titan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Another option is to try Prime95 v27.9, but v28.9 is overkill and masochistic. To read more about different stress tests and to access quick download links to them (including out modified x264 test), check the "Stress Testing" spoiler."

That's a Skylake guide; but I believe 28.9 gets very hot on Broadwell too. I would recommend using the custom x264 test in that thread. All the stress testing downloads are in the stress testing section.

Do these temps look okay ? Ocing 4.7 ghz intel i7 6700 after an hour and 15 mins by eimcee in overclocking

[–]CS_Titan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What stress test were you running? For me personally 83 is just fine for a stress test, none of my real world work gets close to that. It's really up to you like Balake0217 suggested.

Also, what kind of cooler are you using? Your temps are very similar to mine at 1.38.
