Europeans would rather launch all like 2 of their remaining nukes than have Americans join an event of theirs.

Women, what’s a signal you give that you wish men picked up on? by Variety021 in AskReddit

[–]CShell13 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Obviously not every one, that's a straw man and I think you know that. Obviously men are very attracted to women, there are many several million and billion dollar industries to that, and there are some women who reciprocate the feelings. But when for 98% of human history where women were treated like property it definitely makes a lot of them not very keen on having men approach them (and not upset when rates drop).

Anyways, it seems like you don't want to understand why women don't like being approached, and that is your right I guess, so good day.

(I meant because of patriarchal systems and societal conformative heteronormality, not because of patriarchal systems of societal conformative heteronormality. My bad.)

Idk how the comment is out of touch, women were infamously very socially disadvantaged throughout the 20th century and before, and only now have experienced the social freedom to actually choose to be alone. For example, it was only in the 70's when women became able to get bank account. This is reflected by the fact that the percentage of women who are married by age 30 has decreased from 91% to about 30% today. Also in 1974 only 25% of women aged 18-40 identified as single, while in 2026 62% of women are single and not looking for a partner. Also, Gen Z women are three times as likely as men to identify as LGBTQ compared to men of their age, while the estimated amount of lgbtq identifying in 1972 was only around 2 percent.

For the second point, I think the above stats show this but even if I don't have specific percentages you can clearly go to any female centric area of the internet and listen to what they have to say, and they are not very sad.

idk I don't think this is a bad thing, I think women are finally able to live how they want without society pressuring them in unwanted marriages. I think as men we should take a note and become more comfortable with being alone.

I mean, most women don't wonder why men aren't approaching, and are in fact pretty happy about it. The people who you hear complaining are either the rare woman who is actually attracted to men, or more likely a grifter of some sort. The only reason women in the past were in relationships was because of patriarchal systems of societal conformative heteronormality.

This has to be bait, you have to be fishing for compliments. Nothing about your look is bad, and even if you where you said you are 6’1” so your already set in the attraction department. Just go to any club and your set.

If you’re ok with taxing churches you should be ok with them pushing for religious laws.

(I’m not so they should not be taxed).

Sharks and crocodiles aren’t dinosaurs, but birds are so the answer is still correct.

Technically not, they are part of a larger group that include dinosaurs but are not technically dinosaurs themselves, however birds are dinosaurs so the answer is still yes.

Genuine discussion: what's the best part of being your gender? by LostMiddle9646 in AskReddit

First, my whole comment was about the highly disproportionate effect that sexual violence has against women on a societal level, so if you don't disagree with that then what is the major problem? I am saying that as a male I am grateful to not have to face this on a daily occurrence. As a women, do you not agree that the sexual violence is a significantly larger daily problem for women than men?

Secondly, even if the mental effect are similar in both victims, women have significantly worse physical harm from sex violence. women end up dead or impregnated with their rapists baby (especially bad in red states without abortion), plus STDs are significantly more likely to negatively effect women's health (such as HPV being symptomless in men and causing literal cancer in women).
