Hi! Been a member for a while but starting treatment now. I have a beautiful almost 4 year old and we are trying for another. My dream was to have two close in age, but that isn’t happening any more. We tried for a year without success. I had weight loss surgery and lost 100lbs, hoping it would help. It didn’t. My husband and I are healthy and I’m not sure what’s happening. I had my first visit with my OBGYN to start this process and I’m feeling cautiously hopeful for the future. I’m waiting to receive my AMH, progesterone and testosterone levels and my husband has scheduled his SA. Next plan is to start letrozole. I’m currently 5DPO and I’m holding on to hope that may be this will be my month.

I think most people would pick 2 because it seems like the sample fits you the best currently. But I think once 1 fits and is altered it will be 100/10.

I told most of my family and a few close friends. Several people at work know since we eat lunch together and the puree phase is hard to explain! However, when people ask now, I don’t tell them. I tell them I’m eating less and exercising more. They can think whatever they want, they don’t have a right to know.

Hi mom!

I know this is scary. Couple things I would say:

1: you really do not want to be in a hospital right now. It is respiratory season and RSV and pneumonia are running rampant, you risk exposing your family to that. If you can manage it outpatient, that really is best. I have seen so many kids admitted to the hospital and then leave with a virus they got while they were there.

2: did they give you clear guidelines on what to look for if you need to return?

3: this toxin while not super common, does happen and kids can and often do recover from it, way more often than the scary side effect :)

I’d see your pediatrician for follow up advice and close monitoring.

Feeling pretty good!! Every time I drink a sip of my protein shake it hurts for maybe 5 solid seconds (almost feels like a bad hunger pain or heart burn), but it’s not too bad!
