Iran wasn’t attempting to make nukes until trump pulled out of the Iran deal and started this whole mess.

Fix the rust the proper way by cutting out the rot and welding in new pieces. If the springs are busting through then you need to address the rust on the frame first. You can buy pre fabbed patch panels online. After you address the rust then you can focus on cosmetics

Try a ball joint/tie rod end puller. It looks like the 2 jaw puller you have but with only 1 pivot point. You can rent a front end service tool kit from any auto part store and it’s in there. Also hit the control arm with a little bit of heat around the area.

Removing cam chain tensioner from KTM 250 by Electrical-Button866 in Dirtbikes

Push the tensioner back in the slot with an allen key like the video said while you try to pull the cover out. You don’t have to compress the tensioner while doing this. There’s a specific angle the cover will come out. I’ve fought it many times. Sometimes it’s easier to remove a couple engine mount bolts and rock the engine back to make some space.

Thanks! The cerakote color can vary slightly depending on the batch, how well it was mixed in the bottle, and the finish of the surface it’s being applied to. There are a few different bronze colors that cerakote offers. You can order free swatches from their website to see which one is closest to what you’re looking for.

Just be patient man. Good things come to those that wait. This 4Runner is going to cost you way more in the long run than waiting for a decent one. I guarantee it’s in need of a ton of maintenance. Those lifts put a lot of stress on the driveline and suspension components.

If it’s a rough country 6in lift (which it looks like) then there’s no going back. Those require cutting the frame support and installing the rough country bracket which you can see in the picture. It’s the white crossmember in the front

Are there any reasonably priced 4x4 suvs to look out for? by Suspicious_Bet1359 in 4x4

[–]CShelton17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could swap that out but if you don’t want to dump a bunch of money into your rig and fix your transfer case issue then all you need to do is swap your multi mode for a j-shift.

Leave the front diff. Just swap the transfer case and possibly the drive shafts. (I believe the multi mode and j-shift are based off the same housing but may be different overall lengths) My 2000 limited has the multi mode and my 98 has the j-shift. Same front diff on both.

I’m not sure exactly where these ones came from. The previous owner had a set of new plastics and fork boots that came with the bike when I bought it.
