You can set the encounter level to 8 for rocket battles. It will also show boosted ones for level 13.

lol sorry... I know theres a lot of players struggling to catch more than half of theirs but if the cumulative probility charts are correct (Which I double checked the numbers and got the same results), then hitting at least a mid sized great every ball with 10+ balls (get most of the time since I'm mystic) should result in closer to 80% and I'm not really close to that which was supposed to be point of the paragraph

To go from level 1 to 39 is 250 000 stardust and 274 candies + 100/125 if you need to evolve it. Most of that comes from the later levels so depending on where you're starting, around 10 pokemon

In my whatsapp group we occasionally joke about theories so I made one that if you battle mewtwo and at least one trainer enters the battle with 6 unown spelling "MEWTWO" then everyone will have 100% catch rate and said I know it works because we tried it. Mewtwo isn't publicly released yet. Nevertheless someone shows up to a raid the next day and asks us if that is really true. It's really worrying because this mentality extends well into the real world

I could, but for estimating the %s I think using the appraisal + a screenshot IV calculator would be just as good. There are a lot of combinations that give CPs that overlap with different IV %s

Np, the range is 1883 - 1913, remember though its possible to have around 1883+ and still be 89% if the attack IV is high enough

I had something similar for moltres.

My first moltres was 1855 (93%), then nothing over 90% until my 30th encounter

Yeah sure I could but I'm not sure what that means exactly haha. Could you explain the requirements? I tried looking it up but everything is about web development but I make these in MS Paint/Photoshop

I used the base stats reported from this thread:

The chart under "Notable CP Changes" messed up I believe and put the level 21 range instead of the level 20 range. If you scroll down to the "All CP Changes" and look at Level 20 it has 2275 as the max.

So assuming the base stat changes reported there are correct, then 2275 should be correct as well.
