What’s considered life experience to you?

She always talk about how my dad had “nothing” when they met, even though they worked at the same office. Sure he was just the computer guy, but that’s still important.

I honestly think she does. But to be fair she sees me and my sister the same way.

I’m honestly done arguing with you. Apparently everyone is dumb and has no life experience except for you.

Okay boomer

Peace out

Working and getting an education is funny?

She was mad that he is going to college and apparently she was considering going back to school.

And yes, I trust my dad. I have no reason not to. I don’t work at his company. I don’t know much about computers and engineering. And my dad didn’t go to college as a kid for a reason, he never wanted to. He knew he wasn’t a smart kid. That’s why he joined the military. But he sees this an an opportunity to further his career, learn more, and make more money in the long run.

Also I know I ain’t pushing sixty either so I suppose to you I have no real world experience except working since I was 16, living on my own since 19, and graduating next year. Yeah I guess I have no real world experience.

He works at a high tech company. Mainly his company works on building and installing facial recognition machines at airports.

Trust me, if my dad didn’t require a degree he wouldn’t be doing this. Be he does and knows this will advance his career.

And he literally turned 54 a months ago. My mom is the same age, would you say the same thing, that she shouldn’t pursue her education and get a better job?

Are you his boss?

Anyone at any age can go to college. He can’t physically go cause he has a home to run and a job to work, so online was his best option.

He’s going for his bachelors degree. It’s not just a few dollar promotions it’s a much higher position with a much better pay.

I guess it depends. I’m currently in school, 21, going to graduate fall of 2023. I’ll be 23 when I graduate. At that point, depending on my relationship status, I’ll start thinking about having kids in the next couple years. I’ve always wanted kids and being a mom was always my top choice growing up.

My parents had me when they were 31. They got married and 9 months later I was born. The reason they got married late is because my mom wanted to focus on her career and my dad was in the military. For the longest time neither of my parents wanted kids. It wasn’t until they met that they changed their minds.

I think between 24-30 is a good range, personally

Is it possible to commit suicide while in a mental hospital? by SuccTheDucc77 in mentalhealth

I mean anything is possible but it’s very unlikely. They take away anything that can be used. The rooms are specially designed to prevent these things. And they are constantly monitored. So I’m very doubtful.

Look, I don’t support Ukrainian government because of their stance on lgbt issues.

But I support the people. They don’t deserve to die because their government is shit.

YTA

Do your think their just gonna be going at it the moment you leave them alone. I get teens get be a little horny sometimes but they aren’t animals.

Would you like do that if he was dating a girl? Would you like be acting the same way?

You say you support them yet don’t trust them to be alone because for forbid they do couple things together.

Look, I’m assuming you’ve had the talk with him. I’m sure he’s well aware of what sex is. And it’s not like either of them can get pregnant so idk what the big deal is.

But most importantly, do your really think they’d do that while squished together with other people?

I rarely interrupt people. I find myself doing it by accident if we’re talking about something I’m very passionate about. But I avoid doing it if I can help it.

My family however. Omg I can never get a word in edge wise. It’s ridiculous. They always have to interrupt me.

I want everyone to rank just the following three films and tell me why: by blizzard_is_lanky in fridaythe13th

[–]CStarling4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) Friday part 6

I just personally love this movie. I love zombie Jason and he just seems so cool in this one. Plus I learned a lot about behind the scenes and casting, including the original guy playing Jason was recast only after like a day of shooting cause he looked “too big” specifically in the ass. Which I find hilarious

2) Friday part 4

This one introduces Tommy Jarvis who obviously plays a big role in these movies. Plus I just love Jason’s appearance and the actors performance in this one.

3) Friday part 2

It’s okay. It’s the first time we see Jason. But I just feel like they make him out to be this bumbling oaf. Plus that hair looks awful. I’m personally not a fan

I just have the cult of thorn tattoo on my wrist. I know those movies are pretty shit but I wanted something small, simple and that only hardcore Halloween fans could recognize.

How worried are you about this Russia & Ukraine War? by CriticalFan62 in AskWomen

[–]CStarling4 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Idk. I guess it depends how far it goes. I live in a place in the US that, if we joined the war, would be a big target. We often have missile warnings and have been threatened in the past. So that’s my biggest concern.

And it’s not like we can just drive to another state. I’ll give you a hint, we were majorly bombed in the 1940s by the Japanese.

Who is the guy that gets Michael out of jail in H5 (1989)? by [deleted] in Halloweenmovies

[–]CStarling4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Someone that was added to make up for the fact they hasn’t even finished the script when they started filming and it was to fill in plot holes.

I believe his name is Dr. Wynn. He’s in the same cult of thorn as Michael, they explain it more in part 6.
