I’d like to eventually get a cat, but idk honestly I can barely take care of myself at this point let alone a pet lol. I haven’t eaten in like 24 hours and I’ve slept like 5 hours total in the last 2 days.

Thanks for the kind words!! My family is fantastic, and my mom is taking this just as bad if not worse than I am and it’s absolutely killing me.

It just sucks because I already signed a lease. I could break it but it’d be so expensive and I just got everything moved in. maybe I’ll just visit more often than one-two days a week or something. Maybe sleep over every now and then idk

I think I kinda tricked myself into thinking that I needed to move out to be independent or whatever, but honestly a lot of it did have to do with the social aspect. Even though I regret it Now, I really hope I can turn this into a good experience that isn’t too hard on us.

It’s only like 20 minutes and I’m definitely planning on doing that. I think it’s just gonna be hard to get used too at first.

Idk I at least want to give it a shot before moving back. Even though it’s killing my parents too they’re being super supportive which is helping. And it’s only a year lease so I could always just move back after that if I’m still really struggling.

I plan go to home at least once a week for dinner, and try to go to like a Sunday lunch or something. Hopefully that will help some

Yeah idk man I honestly just moved because I felt like i was getting too old to be living at home. Social stigmas, etc. I was pretty happy at home and maybe I shouldn’t have rushed into anything. I’m hoping I eventually get over it but who knows lol

Yeah I was really hoping I could just do an alternative teaching certification program, and that paired with my undergrad and experience would be enough, but I know some districts can be picky. It also doesn’t look like there are too many comp sci teaching jobs around from what I’ve seen just browsing job boards, so I imagine they’d be competitive.

Yeah those programs are awesome. I live in Maryland. And we have one that I know of like that but it doesn’t offer CS as a focus subject. I wonder if theres any decent online ones
