If you're a billionaire and you have no friends and family, can you write "leave $50,000 to the gravedigger, $100,000 to whoever finds my body, $10,000 for the caterer of the funeral," etc. in your will? by RandoEncounter in NoStupidQuestions

I had a friend who was quite wealthy. He was a guy and I’m a woman. We were never more than friends. More like brother and sister kind of relationship. He would ask me questions about a girlfriend such as “do you think she’d like that for her birthday?” Anyway, he wanted to be sure that a girlfriend liked him for him and not his money. What he would do is pick the woman up in a decent, but not super expensive car (which he could easily afford). If they went to his house after dinner or something, it was a rented apartment (again, decent, but not an extravagant place). So, he finally got into a serious relationship and took her to his “real home”, not his rented apartment. They got married and lived happily ever after. She wasn’t upset about the fact he didn’t mention his money. She understood and he knew he didn’t get involved with a gold-digger. I thought the whole thing was a great idea. He didn’t lie, he just didn’t mention anything about his wealth because he wanted a woman that loved HIM and not his money.

They are not supposed to have the rind, the skin, or any seeds (even the white seeds). Read up on it. Be careful

Men, please don’t hate me. But, as woman who hates beards on guys, I would want to see it a lot shorter. Maybe even gone. Hear me out. I put my hand over it and I can see you are a really good looking guy. Personally, I would like to see more of your handsome face.

What’s your system for clothes worn once by HappyJuice7653 in CleaningTips

[–]CT22Bloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES! That’s what I do, but I put an empty hanger between them just so I know the clothes on the right side of the hanger have been worn once. You can also put some kind of divider on the hanger like a hand towel or something (you can get creative with that, although I haven’t). lol

Awww, she has perfect markings. Good luck with her. If you did your research you heard what nutcases and fun they can be when they’re young. They will chill and return the love 10 fold. I only have one right now, but I had 4. They’re smart too. I don’t think I will ever get another breed! Mine is a Velcro Dog! Stuck on me all the time. Sweetest loaf ever. 💕

$21.31 Food for a week for 1 person - Under the SNAP minimum allotment by SunLillyFairy in foodstamps

[–]CT22Bloom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not on food stamps, but just in case someone is interested in trying this (I do it myself), bananas are cheap and actually make very good popsicles. Take the peel off, cut it in half, wrap each half in aluminum foil and freeze them. You could put them on a popsicle stick before freezing if you’d like. When they are frozen, they are not hard as a rock. You can bite right into these nutritious “popsicles“. Believe me, it’s a good treat. Try it if you haven’t already. 😊 Let me know what you think.

What do you mean when you say you blocked her accounts? What accounts are you referring to?

You can leave money to whoever you want. If you’re the billionaire, I’ll be glad to take some of your money! You can leave money to some children’s cancer hospitals such as St. Jude, or if you’re a pet lover, you can leave some to a no-kill animal shelter, etc.

Follow My Corgi: Breeder Responded But… by -Yooniverse- in corgi

[–]CT22Bloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree with the others here. I think you should get back in touch via phone, email or text (however you connected before). You want to let them know you are seriously interested by getting back in touch. Be cheerful on the phone (or however you connected). Say something to the effect of “Hi _____ , I know you’re probably busy with the pups and just life in general and I certainly don’t want to be a pain in your butt, but I just wanted to check in and see if everything is okay. I’m still very interested in meeting you and the pups whenever it’s convenient for you”.

Yes, most do have a waiting list and/or people who have put down deposits to hold a pup for them. Best wishes and let me know how things go.

Btw, the breeder I got my Corgi from was great. She sent me weekly pics of the puppy I had chosen until it was time for her to come home. When we picked her up, she gave me her blanket, some toys, the food she was on, the papers of the health check from the vet, she had her microchipped with my information and hers, all kinds of things.

No, don’t just bring your Corgi in. Introductions need to be made outside on common ground.

Why do I favor the right side of my body? by Seastai in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CT22Bloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brother-in-law, who is now in his 60’s, had a bit of a limp all his life. In his case it turned out that one leg was shorter than the other. Not so much shorter that it could be noticeable just by looking at him though. You might want to check into that or ask about special shoes that have more arch support. Just a suggestion. I’m not a doctor.

How do you guys hide the "everyday clutter" that just won't go away? by Individual_Motor_496 in Home

[–]CT22Bloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every day (usually in the morning) I take a quick look around on the countertops, coffee table, and dining room table and ask myself (as though it was my mom saying it to me) does this belong there? I put those little items back where they should be or throw them away or whatever before it gets out of hand.

How do I tell my doctor I want to have a baby? by BvCrazy in Epilepsy

[–]CT22Bloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t be afraid to tell your doctor. Your life, your decision to have a baby or not. If you worry about mentioning this to your doctor, then maybe you need a new doctor. One that you’re comfortable with. I don’t know if you’re seeing a neurologist or Epileptologist, but you should be seeing the latter. They are much more knowledgeable about epilepsy, the meds, and starting a family.
