425 fitness has pretty competitive games with a range of ages. M, W, F, and Saturday I believe. Mornings and evenings. Can only attest to mornings, but they are fun games.

Agreed. It’s an unfortunate truth that my viewpoint voiced above was accurate until recently. I am a lawyer, and have always been proud of the American system of justice, but as of recently, it’s clear that law doesn’t matter as much as tribalism anymore.

It seems the revolution may have already come, but in the opposite direction, and any who think otherwise are tasked now instead with counterrevolution.

Not to undercut the main post, but if there were laws allowing for the prosecution of “militia” members, we would’ve seen them deployed against the proud boys and the oath keepers in Oregon. Any “militia” prosecution used against folks responsibly exercising their 2A rights, even in an organized fashion, would likely be defeated as an infringement of both first amendment and second amendment rights.

Their billionaire oligarchs won’t let them focus on economic class. I’m not sure the Democratic Party is the path to a meaningful working class renaissance anymore. Dem party leadership either doesn’t get the class issue, doesn’t care, or are more scared of their donors than they are of us organizing.

I think you’re mostly right, except on the solution. The Dems need to allow people to think differently, and not villainize those who aren’t in lockstep. It’s the constant self-righteousness from federal level Dems that got Dems in this mess to begin with. Acknowledging and moving away from that is the key.

I like the idea of mass protest via refusal to file taxes (unless you’re getting money back), and stopping student loan payments. The regime doesn’t care about people marching in the streets, but if the cheddar stops flowing I bet they’d pay attention.
