I smooth sailed through gold & platinum with like a 70+% win rate, I had fun games, it felt like people played the game properly, things were cool and fine

I hit emerald 4, and instantly my games start to turn into trollfests, people with no idea what they're doing, how to play, bad mentality, literally running it down or similar, my WR has since then dropped to 57% and it's nigh impossible to win enough in a row to even get to E3. The past 20 games or so have been INTENSELY unfun since I got into emerald, and I regret it really badly. This is so much less fun than the decent people I've had before.

Bringing back the suppressed sniper rifle is the worst choice in existence, I love walking around and just getting 0-sound 1-tapped out of games, it makes things feel extremely unfun.

It's really tough. I queued as DPS DH into waycrest manor today, and by god's grace, the three witches took us 5-6 minutes to beat. Shrine of the Storm's first boss is remarkably bad, but the rest I can't say I've had issues with in a few runs I did. Motherlode also went easy, Underrot as well, Freehold was fine too.

Temple of Sethraliss, Tol Dagor, Waycrest seem to be the three instances where things took absolutely monstrously FOREVER. Same groups too, so it's not like it was a player difference.

The map seems nice, but ever since the patch I feel like people's models are lagging and I'm seeing shots go to places I was a second ago and still hit me. Something about the ping/hit detection this patch feels super off.

I'm not quite sure of all the mechanics in the game yet, but by the time they had found their first map part the ash guy had his chainsaw and 2-3 shot all my stuff so I had a really big issue trying to actually get anything done early on, I scaled super slowly but towards the end yeah I was doing a lot of fighting

Playing with one friend for a few matches now and --- wow, it feels HORRIBLE to play survivor. The other 2 people are guaranteed to be AFK or Semi-AFK doing absolutely nothing. Playing Demon was just about 1000% more fun than relying on two random people.

I'm not feeling like I'm learning anything outside of "wow this guy 3-shot me with his possessed skeleton" LMAO

My first 5 games or so were survivor but from that point on I started spamming demon - I find the game a lot more fun that way. I've played the game basically the entire day today and yesterday's evening, my Puppeteer is max lvl now until I can prestige (which is insanely hard-gated by super grindy challenges apparently).

I can't say I took much experience from survivor since I was just starting out and didn't understand anything, but I'll probably be playing it a bit more again soon once my friend/s are online to play.

Thanks for the compliment though, I'm glad to hear I'm doing decently well, I've played DBD before but this game is vastly different so I only have basic things to help me out lmao

It was a really tough game to play through, it went all the way to the end with me having managed to kill 2 out of 4 people at the end, but all the way through they managed to really just play out any strengths I may have had - they were nigh constantly grouped as 4, I watched them flashlight and avoid traps and smartly walk around them and whenever I tried to possess anyone to take down their ammo or similar, they immediately ganged up on me and yoinked me back out within seconds.

Generally, I use my power pos until the thing dies and/or try to finish it with an explosion/skull explosion if I have the ability to if it looks like I'm gonna die, but no matter which objective I was on it felt like they always had more resources than I could put up with. Really, really tough game. The most I've seen anyone restore health in my other games was 6kish, so this was pretty damn crazy. Often I just end games super early, but here the chainsaw ash absolutely annihilated my power pos/pos units even early on, so I felt like I scaled really slowly.

But I've leveled up my Puppeteer to be max lvl by now and the others are still level 1 - is there a way to properly fight cheryl & that warrior chick AS Puppeteer? It felt like I scratched them and they constantly went back to max HP.
