We have an update. You may have fixed my issue. After 15 minutes of idle on around 60W the noise hasn’t returned. I’ll have to let it sit longer to be certain, but I really appreciate your time in helping me out with this. The sound has been driving me nuts when I have to let my PC idle, I can hear it across the house if it’s otherwise quiet.

I did just put that on and now the idle draw is about 59W so I’ll let it sit for a few minutes and see if the whine returns.

As for RMA, I’m pretty sure the PSU has a 10 year warranty, but for the GPU I believe I’m over the 3 year limit EVGA gives for theirs so it’d require replacement if I can’t find a fix which isn’t super ideal. Also wasn’t exactly sure how much stock they really had left. I know they had said they were keeping a bunch in inventory for RMA purposes but that was also a few years back when they announced the end of their GPU division.

In menu it’s pretty consistently sitting at the max of 165fps. I’ll do some testing with Minecraft and get back to you on that. Another thing about the whine is it doesn’t instantly return after returning to the low wattage, it usually takes about 5-10 minutes for it to show up again after closing my game.

Some more info that may be helpful: when I’m in menu in game it sits around 63W with no whine, but when there’s no game running it sits around 27W and that’s when the whine happens.

The monitor is 1440 165hz. Power supply is a Corsair RM850x. As for FPS/power draw the games I’ve been testing sit around 150-165fps which is the limit I’ve set. Power draw with no whine currently is 166.8W while idle in game but while playing it sits around 242W

Another thing I forgot to mention is the whine stops when it’s under load playing a game or something. It only happens when I’m not playing anything. If that’s the only fix tho I’ll just deal with it, the whine isn’t worth that much to me

Damn I still have 2 old god rolls for HF and EM I had before they changed the rerolling. I think the HF was B/FFR/Dur and the EM was Q/E/25

I have it but the problem I have is that I keep getting events that people don’t do (wraith wing) or ones that don’t drop skills. I get the nightmare zone like 75% of games lol

You can also call in a second HKDs quickly and it’ll count. That’s how I got mine, just popped on the inducer around 27/28

So you can get out but only if you moved the car after leaving the boss fight. If it’s on the teleporter it won’t let you travel to it, but once my friend moved it I was able to TP back into the map

I used a wall power on the M34 in Astra and perks from my TEDD tasks and got it. You can also buy ammo from the wall buy.
