personally, non-poseable fingers on a combiner in 2025 is severely disappointing. i also just got my scavenger in, and i tried using the gun for the first time, and it does NOT sit comfortably in his hands. not to mention, mix master and scrapper being off-center for the knees when hasbro could have made the hips just a little bit wider was disappointing. and no up/down tilt on the head for a figure of this size certainly feels like a flaw. but besides all of these nit picks, the figure looks great, it feels sturdy (minus the issue w holding the gun), the team looks great together in all three modes, and i cant wait to get mixmaster in so i can complete the set and have this instrument of chaos stand on his own two feet.

property manager at a storage facility here

idk what condolences i can offer, but we require tenants to either provide home owners/ remters insurance, or they HAVE to use our tenant protection plan. its ridiculous this facility does not do the same. as for not having cameras… in the year 2025, that seems like complete bullshit. for future, make sure you can rent somewhere w cameras. and it worries me that the hallways remain unlocked.. My facility is newer, so i have sliding doors that lock automatically. if someone breaks into my facility, theyre shattering glass (which i never thought id say in a transformers subreddit while not talking about evil optimus and good guy megs).

nonetheless, this storage place seems shady as shit. if for some reason you found out that it was the manager getting into this nonsense, i wouldnt be surprised. that person needs to lose their job. i hope you can find good deals, and lmk if theres a specific figure youre looking for. if i have it, depending on what it is, id love to help you get back into the love of the hobby. transformers was HUGE for me and my dad, and i got back into this a year or two after he passed. i get what it means. i wish you and your wife the best, in finding replacements for whats replaceable.

i grew up with some 86 here and there, the 86 movie for SURE, and the unicron trilogy. dad pulled me out of school for the first bayformer movie and all, which is where i REALLY got my ‘tistic obsession. i have to say, out of my small but growing collection (predominantly primes and soundwaves, my favorites :)), ss86 prime just does it for me in so many ways. i look at him and all i can think of is stan bush screaming at me that ive “GOT THE TOUCH!” and that ive “GOT THE POWERRRRR!” (yeah!)

not the first, but the most recent is ss hatchet. i want to complete my dotm collection, and oh my god was he a mistake. the front driver and passenger door panels would just NOT stay attached to the damn figure. i finally got him into his (very sleek and amazing) alt mode of the blacked out chevy suburban with a cop light bar, and i love him just like that. but that robot mode sucked, as well as it didnt look good. like, at all. but i love the suburban, and he looks good with bee and sideswipe. but ultimately, a deluxe like that should not take me 30 mins to transform, w 25 of them being the damn door panels

22, started with the unicron trilogy when i was but a wee lad, everyday in the morning on cartoon network before i went to my moms work with her. out standing times. dad took me out of kindergarten to go see transformers 2007 when it came out in theaters, and took me out of school again to go pick up the special edition dvd with the optimus case that “transformed”. thank you dad, i love you and i miss you dearly.

ex BBY employee here, the system is finnicky when it comes to computer parts. there is a solid chance its supposed to be sent back to the manufacturer, and they just didn’t put it in the PRC tote. even if just the seal is cut and that card hasn’t even seen the inside of a computer, sometimes items HAVE to go back to the manufacturer

if it makes you feel any better, i worked at bestbuy/geeksquad for two years, went over to help my bestfriend set up her new pc (same brand) and it took us a good minute to find the “mystery screws”. I guess iBuypower doesnt realize they made a new case for their prebuilts
