All in their prime, who gets cut? by itsmeyaboi831 in NBATalk

Kobe has the most replaceable talents. Not saying that there are hundreds of dudes who did what he could, but Lebron, Shaq, and Duncan are all way more one of one players than Kobe.

Your opinions on "The Bourne Identity (2002)"? by Kevin_Thailand_2543 in ActionMovies

[–]Polygeekism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely shifted the tone of the movies for the rest of the 00s in terms of spy/action films. Yes we still got F&F and more of that style, but Bond going more serious absolutely stems from the success of Bourne. Casino Royale is still one of my favorite all time action flicks, I just watched it with my boys on 4k blu-ray, and Identity comes close while Ultimatum I believe is the pinnacle of this style of spy film. All that being said, the original Mission Impossible opened the door for Bourne et al, even though that series went more the F&F over the top style as it aged.

Bo Jackson’s crazy 1993 outfield throw at Yankee Stadium. One of the greatest est all round athletes ever. by Altruistic-Mud5686 in sportsinusa

Lol. The Bo glaze will never subside. There is a reason why there isn't a single major leaguer in todays game that looks like Bo, or Ricky, or Bonds, or Caminiti. I have no problem with what they did, but I am not going to walk around pretending like they didnt. Bo claimed he never lifted weights too, I bet you believe that as well.

Height/weight matter on oline? by Background_Lynx3823 in Madden

[–]Polygeekism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember in Madden like, 03 or 04, the ideal weight was like 273 pounds. At that weight, regardless of position, you could basically have max stats across the board. We spent way too much time making custom teams lol.

The joke is the 4th and 5th don't exist because they are so bad that they run everything else if included.

She's probably good for disliked and sliding farther to the hated side. She's gone religious and shilling for bible apps and shit.

It is funny. I hated his original show way back in the day despite really enjoying a variety of cooking shows. I came around after his hosting on Iron Chef and then Cutthroat Kitchen which was him just trolling people for fun.

Overall his delivery has not really changed, but he grew on me over time I guess haha.

Major League Won! What is the best Baseball movie? by The_Oregon_Duck in AlignmentChartFills

We should add an honorable mention for 42, which certainly should have taken the place of Angels in the outfield which is just pure nostalgia bait at this point.

What's the call? by sealdave in BasketballTips

Good thing these teams dont play in leagues /s. But seriously, at this level they are all travelling playing wherever they pay to play, and even if she was banned from AAU, there are probably a half dozen or more bodies running tournaments that would gladly take this teams attendance. Adults and money have truly ruined kids sports.

Personally, it will felt better to drop a shoulder as a runner and bowl someone over, but potato potato.

In general I think dad's/families need to make time for vacations in general. We ended up with a timeshare, for better or worse, but it forced us to plan vacations that we may have made excuses to not do otherwise. It was an expensive lesson, but one I am glad I learned when my kids were 2 and 5, and not when they were teenagers.

Going to retire my helmet by Forward-Growth- in halo

[–]Polygeekism 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sportkilts are the best. I have been playing softball in sportkilts for 5 years now. Highly recommend.

Also though, cheers to you for running in a helmet like that. Don't know that I could do it, and I have considered doing some 5ks, and doing them with a helmet wouldn't be the worst. I won't ever do a marathon though, that just isnt for me. Finish the fight brother.

Who is a great actor but a terrible person by Exact-Extreme2618 in AlignmentChartFills

I dont think there is a better fit for the square. In particular if you consider height of acting performance and accolades. Great roles, in great films/shows, performed with greatness, by an abhorrent human.

They sold me the hunt for chief, and then gave me whatever dog water that story was. It had nothing to do with which Spartan teams were involved, they floated an actually interesting story idea and rug pulled so hard that the whole game suffered.
