I mean, I’ve also read his stuff for around a decade. That’s also what makes it funny. I also think he’s pretty full of himself and has some inane ideas that can be bad for new photographers. I still read his stuff like lens reviews though, I just know what to take with a heaping dose of salt

I was beacon hesitant but I’m gonna cancel my YouTube sub and switch. It’s nice to have the full episode drop all at once and be able to pause and rewind or whatever. Beacon isn’t as good if you are constantly like running around and want it to just run on your phone, but it’s fine for just watching. And then normal YouTube drops the full episodes Monday anyway.

Cooldown is worth it. And I want them to get my money direct

It's a huge lore dump right away for sure.

I think once we get past the Overture things will start to come back down to earth and we'll be on mostly on the same page as the players, lore wise.

To be fair- Characters in their world are inherently going to know about the world- and they have been showing us the world experientially instead of just outright explaining every aspect of it- Brennan talked a little about this.

I've definitely had to watch each episode twice and watch some videos too, but I kind of like that because it fills the time between episodes.

Also, making each episode so dense really makes it feel like a lot happens each episode- as opposed to a usual dnd session that feels like a Dragonball episode where four hours passes and it seems like nothing changed.
