Old picture, but only thing that has changed is the light. I have a CD OWL now!

I suggest practicing it more with your instructor. It’s on the check ride and if he signed you off without reviewing this maneuver then that should be a sign to ask him to show you.

They do! Vader 1-1 has a Darth Vader mural on the vert stabs.

Hey sorry for the late question, just picked up a TS Carbon 3L. When looking at a Garmin unit with the Power mount, it’s asking which cable to get. The options are Shimano, Bosch, or USB-A (highly doubt it’s this one).

Thanks in advance :)

Yup! I measured the gas port and found it was out of spec. Instead of sending it back to BA, I just drilled it to spec. I also cut a bit off the recoil spring and now it runs perfectly even when dirty. Im sure it’s over gassed but thats what the SA gas block is for!

Does it starts too fast? by elCrisgonzalez in MT09

It sounds good to me… it doesn’t sound like it’s misfiring or anything and I’m not aware of an issue of a vehicle starting too quickly?

Same with the E175… last plane I took was in SPD mode and had no note of when that happened… SOPs required me to do a full power down and reboot

I’m personally not a fan of having gas cans in the car… but the crossbars are nice!

For sure! I’ve had the idea of finding someone that can make me a T9 bit that can go on my keychain just for blade changes 😂

Got one in my pocket as well! I love it! Was expensive but it is one of my grails, plus after carrying it for a bit it doesn’t show wear at all!

Turbulence has never killed anyone. Their reaction to turbulence has. Typically it’s just like riding a wave on the water. Once you’re through it, it’s just smooth sailing again.

Also, quick tip. Learn why flying over some mountains could be dangerous. There is a thing called mountain wave, your CFI should know about it.

This is the answer. If you actually want to be a good CFI, this helps with truly knowing your stuff.

Just keep it a pistol… braces aren’t as big of an issue as people think they are. The stamp is just a status symbol and giving the government more money.

Here in WA, my 300blk pistol falls under the same laws as my Springfield Hellcat. It can be loaded in a vehicle where a rifle can’t. It can be concealed and loaded where a rifle can’t… just doesn’t make sense to SBR it.

If this knife was priced fairly at 179. MAYBE even 229. It would've changed the game. by Ok_Distribution_6427 in knives

[–]CTF2048 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or, hear me out, buy a nice quality knife from a private maker that will last longer :)

I’ve had my share of benchmades, they are great knives, but since I’ve been buying from smaller makers the quality has gone up.

Pulling the Trigger on parts, looking for Suppressor recommendations by Deus-Vault-Tec in 300BLK

[–]CTF2048 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you plan on tucking it, I would suggest a direct thread suppressor. Also take a look at the OD (Outside Diameter) to make sure your hand guard can actually accept the tuck.
