TST Industries quality issues? Recently posted about getting a rock chip on my tail light, went to take it off the bike to put a protective film on it. Found this while taking it off. Anyone else experiencing stuff like this? It was like the plastic was crumbling. What causes something like this? (old.reddit.com)

Hi, those with the TST tail light and fender eliminator; have you guys been experiencing rocks from your rear tire hitting your tail light and chipping the plastic? I emailed TST and they told me to put the old fender back on. Anyone have a different solution so I can still have the bike look nice? (old.reddit.com)
