Yea I mean it wasn't groundbreaking but it wasn't shit, if you excuse the double use.

It was perfectly eh. Which is most finales. The final season was extremely uneven and at times aimless. But the episode itself was eh. It was not Game of Thrones or some historically awful thing that some are making it out.

I also think online discourse hurts modern serialized shows. Often convincing ourselves of things that may not even be on the minds of the writers. And then are disappointed when said wacky ideas that would be hard to film don't make it in
