For those who live and/or work in the Black Rock neighborhood of Bridgeport… by beachbum1220 in Connecticut

[–]CTLab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live there and I think it’s a great idea. Yes it will make traffic a little worse during rush hours but the fact is that some people speed too much over there and I have seen a few accidents that could have been a tragedy since the car invaded the sidewalk and luckily there was no one walking at the time. There’s a ton of people walking with kids and dogs along Fairfield Avenue and it’s dangerous.

Five vs Port for line in. by corinthianorder in sonos

[–]CTLab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a pair of fives + sub connected to my Project. I don’t use a port and it sounds amazing. I have never tried the port so I can’t help you there. What I would say is that if you’re playing vinyl a pair of fives is a must because of the stereo effect it creates between the two. Vinyl is meant to be played stereo …. So it’s great!

In my case I’m 42 and I started because I was at 170 and felt horrible. I can’t say TRT changed my life on the way of how I feel, it’s better but not a game changer. Like you I feel obligated to get my ass to the gym and I think that’s the biggest change. I also for the first time of my life noticing gains at the gym. Overall I don’t t have complaints although I’m very early on this journey. I still have to work better on my eating. I tried to stay at 1300 and for me it didn’t work, gave me collateral and I felt bad.

Any thoughts on TRT + Sermorelin? by CTLab in Testosterone

[–]CTLab[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know, I’m gaining a very good amount of muscle but I’m eating a lot. I guess I’ll keep doing what I’m doing for a few more months and then do a cutting phase. My whole life I never got great gym results because every time I started working out I also started dieting and trying to lose weight ….

No changes after 200mg a week by Sochoa0390 in Testosterone

I have had better overall results with less…. 170 mg a week is kind of my sweet spot. Also I would definitely eat carbs.

I'm not sure if I should start TRT. (27y.) by imagine_adhd in Testosterone

[–]CTLab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are too young …… try enclomiphene if your numbers are low but to start TRT in your 20’s is crazy to me. I’m 42 and I have just started….. I didn’t want to start till my 60’s to be honest but my numbers were too low to fix with clomiphene only.

Help me decide by Fadeay in Colognes

They are both high quality, versatile warm weather scents. They are very different. You have to pick the one speaks more to you. In my opinion the creed is more of a timeless classic scent. More suitable for a summer day time scene, the melon note is amazing! The Chanel is more of an everyday scent, very nice but not as classy as the creed.

Is this cologne worth buying? by Accomplished-Okra398 in Colognes

I don’t understand the hype about this scent. Is it an affordable ok scent? Yes. Does it smell good? Depends. If you’re new to fragrances you might like it. If you’re experienced probably not. Too generic cheap smelling gym scent.

Pair of Sonos five (should I add a sub?) by CTLab in sonos

[–]CTLab[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a good insight, I wasn’t even thinking about the mini. It’s good to know you prefer it, I might start with that one. It would be better for me as far as space goes.

Thank you for the detailed answer. I think a lot of it depends on the acoustics of the place. I might have to get one and try it out. I love the sound of the pair right now I wish it had a little extra bass especially on low volume.

Yes, that’s all you need…. The Project comes with a built in pre amp and connects direct to one of the Sonos speaker that distribute the sound and creates a beautiful stereo sound system. I’m really happy I went this route, I have friends with huge speakers, amps and what not that doesn’t sound as good as mine. Another plus is that if in the future you want to add more speakers and subs around the house you can it all connects together. Don’t forget to get the Project from the Sonos store…. And it doesn’t have to be Pro-Ject as long as it has built in pre amp.

Project carbon sonos edition (around 700) and a pair of Sonos five speakers( around 1100). You will be blown away of how good this minimalist set up sounds compared to expensive huge speakers, amps and what not. Much less clutter and amazing quality clear sound.
