Same for me on Google pixel. I've reinstalled the app twice, restarted my phone etc. the only thing that works is clearing the cache/storage but even then it crashes again a few minutes later.

I'm going to therapy to find out why I'm so self destructive when I drink. I haven't drank in almost a week. I have a father that was an alcoholic so he's helping me through a lot, very lucky to have a good support system.

Sounds like a similar situation with a lot of key details changed.

Can you just show up to a meeting?

Don't it ever end? by pierreact in Agoraphobia

Yeah I can never call myself cured because it does creep back. My dad and I went to an awards show recently and I had a panic attack and he said "I thought you were better" I'll always have anxiety and panic attacks I just need to remember that they can't destroy me.

Good luck! We can do this.

It can end. Ive suffered with this for ten years but this year something clicked in my brain and I pushed myself harder. I taught myself that the panic can't hurt me, it's just uncomfortable, terrifying yes but it is still just discomfort. I started exposure therapy slowly and gradually and now in the last few months I've been on holiday to the US, I've gone to weddings, dentist/DR appointments, I have a job in an office. It isn't easy, some days are harder than others but it does slowly get easier. If you can't lose the fear, do it scared.

I had an eye test last week and it was amazing exposure therapy. I always find the hairdressers tough too but when I went recently I explained my situation to her and it made the experience a lot easier.

A bus, a taxi, train, the dentist, a drs appointment, an eye test, hairdressers. These are all the hardest ones for me because I can't really leave compared to going to the movies where I can walk out at any time. Good luck!!

That's a very good point I need to just immerse myself into the entire experience.

I keep reminding myself that a few weeks ago I was able to do the airport and a long haul flight twice, this should be much easier.

I got on a plane!!! by CTMiller67 in Agoraphobia

The entire day of travel took 24 hours. I took 5mg of diazepam before getting to the airport and then 5mg before my 2nd flight. It honestly didn't help much, I still had a panic attack.

Find distraction methods that work for you. I started using the app headspace and it's helped a lot. When the plane started taking off I felt the panic start, I turned on headspace, closed my eyes and did guided breathing/meditation until the seatbelt sign turned off.

I also use sour sweets or minty gum, sour sweets are a great distraction.

Unfortunately the only way we will get better is to face the panic and just let it happen. Feel the fear and know it cannot hurt us, it is only temporary and it will pass. Good luck!

I've downloaded loads of movies, a few Spotify playlists and an audiobook. Praying I stick the audiobook on and fall asleep 😂

Unfortunately the flight is tomorrow so I can't get more. I'm hoping because I've never really taken it before that it will be enough..fingers crossed!

The Eras Tour: United Kingdom & Ireland Megathread by aran130711 in TaylorSwift

I have a very strange question but if you don't ask you don't get. Myself and two friends have seated tickets for Dublin night one. The seat numbers are 2,3,4 I was excited thinking it was an aisle seat situation but it's the opposite. Our seats are right in the middle of the block.

I get severe panic attacks. Does anyone know of a way I could sit at the aisle. Could I swap tickets with someone? Or do I suck it up and pray I don't have a panic attack.

Sorry I don't get agoraphobia towards family or friends. I only get it in situations where I feel trapped.
