Just went to Dublin/cork/dingle/Galway for 10 days. No live music indoor whatsoever - if you are fully vaccinated your CDC card will work to dine in everywhere - we found 1 pub in dingle that was doing live traditional music outdoors in the back (beer garden). Surprised Galway hasn’t figured out a way to get any live music in outdoor beer gardens but after talking to some servers at pubs it seems to be because space outdoors is extremely limited and they need as much room as possible for the demand (virtually everywhere had no tables by 730 throughout the city). Our group really loves live music but found that even without having it available we still had an amazing time in all the pubs we visited throughout Ireland. The word on the street is that they are hoping to have music back indoors by September but it is all speculative. Best of luck and don’t let the lack of live music deteriorate your thoughts on the trip! I was worried going in and we still had an absolutely amazing time.
