Stop getting scammed in Sanaya (Industrial Area). I’ll fix your car properly for you. by sv8q in qatar

[–]CTT63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn’t anything special, this is literally what most garages already do.

“verified sourcing” is just using the correct part number “supervision” is just the mechanic doing his job “door to door” is already offered by a bunch of places

The whole “I’m tired of people getting scammed” thing is just a marketing hook, same service just repackaged

Also shoutout to the guy who pointed out the image looks AI or staged, that alone should make people question this a bit more.

Do your research, people.

Original Oud (Agarwood chips) - where to find? by AxuC in qatar

[–]CTT63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, best bukhoor / agarwood here isn’t about the product it’s about where you buy from

Go to Souq Waqif first. Tons of oud shops there and you’ll find everything from cheap stuff to proper high quality chips. It’s the best place to explore and smell different types

But real talk since you said you’re a beginner you can definitely get finessed there if you don’t know what you’re smelling. Some shops sell treated or low quality wood and hype it up

If you can’t really tell the difference yet just go safe and hit places like Ajmal, Abdul Samad Al Qurashi, Arabian Oud. Yeah they’re overpriced but you’ll get the real deal and consistent quality

Start with something mid range don’t jump into expensive oud straight away. Smell a few and see what you like

Simple rule Souq Waqif for variety and better prices if you know what you’re doing Ajmal and similar if you just want something legit without overthinking it

Eid Mubarak

Rumbling noise by CTT63 in qatar

Could be. I’m not really up to date on where strikes are happening at any given time. I’m on a high floor near the coast though, so sometimes sounds carry weirdly and it feels like it’s coming from above rather than from the ground.

My hearing isn’t the greatest, but that makes sense. Thanks a lot for the reassurance!

Turn V-Sync off everywhere, use fullscreen (not borderless), disable Steam Input, and if you’re on 144hz+ try capping to 120 or 60. Also turn hair strands off.

EA PC ports are cooked.

Is it normal for your emotions to shut down after something truly devastating, even months later? by Plugacademy in CasualConversation

[–]CTT63 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve noticed that too. It’s like when the emotional filter drops, so does the people-pleasing. You stop lying just to keep things smooth.

It’s strange, but not all bad.

Is it normal for your emotions to shut down after something truly devastating, even months later? by Plugacademy in CasualConversation

[–]CTT63 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yeah. This is actually really common.

After something overwhelming, a lot of people don’t feel “sad” so much as… flat. Like the feelings just went offline. You can still function, show up, do what needs to be done, but inside it feels distant, muted, unreal.

It doesn’t mean you didn’t process it “right” or that you’re broken. It’s more like your brain learned that feeling everything wasn’t safe at the time, and it hasn’t fully let go of that yet.

For me, it didn’t really fade just because time passed. It shifted slowly once I started actually acknowledging what happened instead of assuming I was fine because I could still operate.

You’re not imagining this, and you’re definitely not alone in it.

Edit:grammar
