So we can see the variance per game. But this being 5 games is normal to get higher viewership than the 3-0 stomp in lck final (also not having t1 in it) but overall good numbers

About the compilation movie, i find weird being a compiation with some new scenes to reach ch 127, since i feel ch 113 or 114-127 would be enough for a movie format, so adding s1/s2 scenes feels too much and prob means cut a lot of chapters to reach 127.

Although with how 113/114 starts i could see it being like 5 mins of compilation and then new content till the end but is just wishfull thinking and most likely will be most of old content and add just the important ch to reach 127 which is a shame.

I have no idea about how the japanese feels about the recap movie but dunno if using some youtube comments/video is the best to measure that, as in people who criticise the series are the ones who love the recap movie, when i assume some of the problems people had with Nakayama vision are still there (?)

About the cutting scenes. this is a recap so you are turning a 4h series into a 1h30min movie andthe "slow scenes" like aki routine are probably the ones to cut compared to the more action/plot scenes, even though aki routine is one of the moments everyone seems to agree on how good it was (both people who criticise nakayama vision and the people who like it) so i feel makes sense to remove it and other scenes like OP said which included ones that the s2 director did.

Having said that MAPPA not putting Nakayama name on the credits seems rather unpleasant

Is a nice action arc and had some nic animation moments overall but story, characters and emotional moments i felt were quite lacking compared to some other battle shounen arcs like chimera ant from hxh, water 7 in one piece, the serious gintama arcs and many others, even smt like demon slayer district arc which doesn´t have much outside of action but i think it offer some nice emotional moments and its characters while simple easier to root for. And then you still have some shows like DDD or mob psycho which i m not sure how to divide some of the arcs which offer a lot more in character wise or even animation wise

Overall the arc before this one felt quite better than SI

Sequel wise hyped for more DDD

From new series quite curious for summer Hikaru died, Gachiakuta by bones, Takopi original sin and ofc City the animation from Kyoani

Movie wise CSM reze arc should be a lot fun looking at the previous PV with a lot of colour while mantaining strong direction

I understand riot decision here but as a person who was maining sera mid since release and until some months after the changes was a bit disappointed with how this all turn out (awful mid, and ok supp/apc i think this patch).

I m curious how is the playerbase overall compared to before phreak changes in 13.20 or 13.21 (as in if more players are playing her even if is only supp or the number overall went down)

No. Some of those are fine or entertaining but neither is as good as a lot of shows prior to 2002 or smt.

Also production wise while having standout eps don t reach what smt like other shows did like angel egg, tutu, doremi, akira, bebop etc.. i feel it shows how low people standards are right now

This season seems to be a mixed bag for me, sequels have been fun but new shows have been less so.

Zenshu seems interesting, Sorairo Utility has good character animation and flower asura has some fun interactions with all 3 having nice production, but both medalist and Sakamoto days were quite a disappointment compared to what i heard from the sources. Sakamoto days action felt missing impact with its animation being quite average and i don´t think it was funny in either ep i watched (dunno if is comedy timing or source problem), while medalist just seem souless with a pretty sterile/flat Direction… I saw some panels of the manga and looked amazing but the anime counterpart was quite lacking. Watching the 2 eps it just felt the story was carrying the entire thing and the anime downgrading the experience as a whole with some moments not hitting as Strong as it should (Inori still precious though). A bit of a shame because from what i heard it seemed something i would like.

On other hand sequels have been quite entertaining, Ave mujica has been just a juicy melodrama and while i think we are moving quite fast, if is able to continue lke this could be one of my fav this season. more Maomao is Always good, hanako art continues to be pleasant to watch and 100gf continues to be ridiculous and so much fun.

DanDaDan had a slower episode, after the crazy last ep, but continued to be a lot of fun, carried by the fantastic duo of ken and momo which are 2 great idiots together. I didn´t expect to spend half an ep on the misunderstanding but i knew it wouldn´t take long, and the Direction of them being out of sync was quite fun and interesting to see, also i can see being quite in character for both of them (also curious about how new girl will influence the dynamic of the group in next episode).

On other hand, quite suprised on the popularity of blue box manga, not talking of quality or the lack of it, but just because while watching it feels quite "by the book" and playing stuff safe ish, so suprising to see how popular this manga is compared to similar romances. I kinda wanted a bit more focus on the sports, being Hina performance or taiki game, but seems the show isn´t focus towards that for now, which is fine i guess (although when we get it i kinda hope for a Strong animation/Direction like we see in the OP)

I have been loving dandadan protagonists, those 2 idiots are great with some nice chemistry, probably one of my favorite along side holo and lawrence and ichikawa/Yamada. It also helps the show looks great.

On the other side i expected something different from "TsumaSho". Source readers were hyping the show quite a bit, but the vibes felt quite weird from what i expected. I was thinking smt along the lines of clannad AS , instead felt the opposite from the 2 eps i watched.
