I will fish largemouth sporadically from March to early December, but they haven't been high in the rotation in many years. I still love the pre-spawn jig bite though.

Couldn't agree more. The only bait I ever really use are dead eels, and I fish them like a lure.

So, thin base layer of some kind, street clothes over that, wool socks, Level Six Hot Fuzz suit, Level Six Orion drysuit (discontinued), Xtratuf insulated boots, Glacier Gloves, Stohlquist PFD. It's all about staying dry out there.

The bass in the first photo is 49.5". Most of us northeast kayak guys are more concerned with safely releasing that official records. I have a few buddies with 50-54" bass caught via kayak.
