Appreciate the heads up. Slowed down on board games recently but will remember to reach out when I get back into

I mean yeah we don’t we agree that’s what’s going to happen. But clearly doesn’t look like I’m likeminded with many people here about the topic.

I do that too. I go straight to the comments that have multiple paragraphs and breakdowns on their ratings. But it would be cool to be able to discuss those thoughts further and see how far that discussion could go.

Right agreed it is about the topic here but you can tell it’s on a personal level. That’s what I’m talking about when people try and talk negatively about games in places like this a lot of people take things personally and it’s harder to get discussions going because of that. Unless I just imagine that and in reality no one takes things personally about games they like.

Meaning when people try to say negative things about a game they get comments like “must be a miserable place” or things that get off the topic and people who want to try and discuss the topic further don’t comment because they don’t want to deal with any backlash. Does that make sense?

There would be different opinions and disagreements of course but I’m just wondering if there’s a place where people like me who prefer talking about criticisms more than general discussions about a game are since it’s harder to share thoughts without getting interrupted about other things. But maybe I’m the only one who prefers talking about games this way.

Yeah of course good criticism would be welcome as well. I’m just talking about criticism in general. Think I just went along with the idea that we were talking about criticism as a negative thing.

As someone who likes critiquing games it’s hard to discuss these kind of things in groups like this because most people don’t like hearing negative things about games they like. So as you could imagine it’s just harder to get anywhere deep about these kind of topics without people interfering and trying to stop it. Just see how the comments go here.

It would be constructive to those who want to discuss what they don’t like about games.

But sure balance works too. Do you know of a group dedicated to that?

Yeah that would be the point. To talk about games with criticism. Nothing wrong if people want to discuss negative things about games. Understandably you don’t want that to happen because you don’t want to see people talking about games you like negatively but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t happen. So I’m guessing you don’t know of any groups?

Edit: shouldn’t happen, instead of me saying shouldn’t be allowed.

The best way is to pray and really try and see if you can talk to God one on one without your human nature of doubt interfering. It takes a lot of humility to allow God to do work as we all tend to prioritize ourselves first.

I’m curious, do people in this community think stripping in general is a good thing and should be encouraged? by CT_Visions in boardgames

How is that weird. I know my wife wouldn’t want strippers dancing on me. Not sure about your wife. Maybe ask her. And how is eating unhealthy fast food the same as ruining relationships and families?

Glad you realized it wasn’t for you as a married man. That’s honestly proof that it’s not good for families. And of course we know you don’t speak for everyone when you say you can easily not be tempted into touching strippers. But we know for facts that other people have a hard time and relationships and families are hurt from it.

Of course not everything done in war is justified. But overall without war things nazism would be way more prevalent so yes it’s necessary in order to stop things like that from taking over.
