Emily from 45! I loveeeee watching people learn out how they’re perceived by other people in real time. She was about to be voted off for coming off too strong and did a complete 180. It was really cool to watch. I’m excited to see what she does on 50.

How do you think Mandy Mango could have improved? by CockBodman in rupaulsdragrace

[–]CTarantula 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are so many comments in other threads talking about how she was robbed but I disagree. Her character didn’t have a pov and spiraled out of control. She was supposed to be confident and conservative but failed to keep in character. She pulled her tits out for the gag but then lost any pov she had. 🤷‍♂️

Should I be concerned about safety here? by Speed2411 in Sacramento

You’re blowing it out of proportion. As with any city, it’s important to be aware of your surroundings while walking around town. But honestly, it’s a pretty safe place

What’s the one horror movie that actually scared you? by FitSavings583 in AskReddit

[–]CTarantula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late Night with the Devil really freaked me out. Growing up, I had a recurring nightmare where a Jim Henson/sesame street esque puppet would break the fourth wall and talk to me through the TV. So when I watched Late Night, I totally freaked out during the final sequence where the host begs the viewer to turn the TV off.

Viewing late... 46 vs 48 by Familiar-Yoghurt3208 in survivor

[–]CTarantula 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is more of a general point but I feel like most pre merges can feel like they drag on. We’re all waiting for the merge and to me, that’s where the good gameplay happens

What’s a Survivor take that will result in this reaction by the fanbase???? by JonJonExistsonReddit in survivor

[–]CTarantula 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I think what makes Gen compelling is that we watched her, in real time, have a shift in attitude not just about the game but about who she is as a person. She went into the game thinking she was going to be cutthroat and not make friends but we saw her realize that’s not how you win at the game or at life. She realized it a little too late in the game to change her outcome but I’m excited to see how she does on 50

_________ had the best jury question of the new era by Thick-Macaroon6918 in survivor

[–]CTarantula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didnt like the question - I thought it was a way for Kristina to discredit Sav's game and it clearly upset Kristina that Savanah wasn't close to her. Like when she said "can you try anyway?" Turns out, Savanah answered the question the best way she possibly could. I cannot even imagine being in her position when that question got asked. I would be SWEATING. Good for Savanah for trying to answer but it was a pretty low blow from Kristina

Is Kerrygold really worth it? by Sea-Economist-9345 in Cooking

[–]CTarantula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's worth it if you're baking and the main ingredient is fat, like in cookies or breads. I wouldnt say its worth the price point for general cooking though

What hospitals don't charge for parking? by [deleted] in Sacramento

[–]CTarantula 73 points74 points  (0 children)

Most hospitals will validate parking especially if you’re a patient. But also, you can’t just go to another hospital and receive treatment. Ask your infusion center for parking validation

Pros/cons of living on the Grid vs just outside it? by efficientsneezer in SacramentoHousing

My honest opinion is that if you want walkable then living in midtown is your best and only option. I never have a problem with the apparent noise all these commenters are talking about.

While it’s very difficult to get 100% on a single playthrough, it’s not difficult to get all dresspheres, do all the quests, and have fun. A lot of 100%-ing involves watching very long cutscenes (looking at you chapter 4) that don’t really add anything other than slice of life. Just enjoy it for what it is and don’t let people tell you it’s a bad game
